I have 2 boys and one is about 165lbs (14yrs) and the other is barely 75lbs hes (12). I needed something my kids can grow into and I was terrified at buying metal over wood. I read the reviews over and over so I took a chance and glad I did. The bottom bunk is large enough that my son who is now 5'7 can sit up without touching the top bunk. I'm in awe at how sturdy this bed is. I put the bed together in about 3 hours, didn't mess up the ladder and it looks better than the posted picture. Read through the directions a few times before you start and read the reviews for extra help and it will all be worth it. I was looking for a trendy bed that would last more than a year and I found it! My youngest loves the top bunk and my oldest hasnt complained yet about the bottom and (he complains about everything). I purchased the signature sleep 8 inch bed which leaves just enough space for the guard rails to catch my son for some reason he decides to roll or slip out of bed. The ladder is cool and strong enough for an adult to climb. Freakin love our new bunk beds!!
Forgot to mention there are these gray square things that numb your thumb. After 40 minutes and inserting 3 I gave up. The way the top bed is made, I didnt think it was needed. To date I see no reason why the thumb killers are useful..
My 9 yr old loves her bed and all the space tout her stuff under her bed. It was easy for two people to put together with the instructions. Very sturdy too!
This is a great product for the price. Had a lot of parts to put together but once complete very sturdy and well made. Our daughter loves it and so do we.
A good purchase. Met my need for a loft and I am confident in it construction. Make sure you receive your instructions though. I had to use an online PDF to figure it out. Really enjoy this loft though!
Easier than I thought to assemble. About 2.5 hours with my son and I. Ue a good hex wrench or wear globes to get a better and tighter grip to snug up the bolts.
Grandkids really enjoy them.

I bought this bed for my 12 year old. I put it together by myself; the instructions were easy to follow, all pieces were well labeled and all pieces are very well made. It is very sturdy and is a very good value for the money .. especially when it was over half off the regular price. We both love the bed and I would recommend it.
4 hours to assemble but we love it! Just what we wanted, sturdy and attractive, perfect size for our room and our young lady. We are completely happy with the product, the price, the quick delivery, the ease of ordering and would buy it again!

Sturdy bed, does the job
The bed is great - my husband found it frustrating to put together, BUT it seems most loft/bunk beds are. My son loves it, and it looks nice!

Good for the money
Assembly was easy and fast! The bed seems sturdy and light at the same time. I would recommend anyone buying this type of bed.
