    Affordable and sturdy

It is a two hour project. It is very sturdy. What I like most about it is that it has a 10 inch railing that keeps the kids from falling.

    Sturdy beautiful

Best price anywhere. Took some time to set it up, but instructions led you through it with NO extra parts. Grandson's love it. Well constructed. Would recommend for any child's room.

Good bed at a good price, but assembly is somewhat painful

Unlike most bunk bed owners, I'm not a parent, but rather a college student sharing a 100-square-foot bedroom with a roommate in an apartment. We found that this was a great way to fit two beds in the cramped space. For $100 each, it was quite affordable. I'm a little unusual in that I only weigh 115 lbs., so even a bed designed for children could support me on the top bunk, but from what I've seen of this bed, it's sturdy enough that a 140- or 150-pound person could occupy the top bunk safely. Unsurprisingly, the frame isn't totally rigid; the joints certainly flex a fair amount when you climb up or turn over. But this is normal for any self-assembled bunk bed that doesn't cost a fortune, and it's never in danger of buckling or tipping. Most of the assembly is quite easy. The parts fit together very well and the instructions are very good. But one of the very last steps involves securing the many metal slats that support the mattresses. This is done with little plastic pieces that have to be popped into place in the hole above the slat. Unfortunately, they are extraordinarily difficult and extremely painful to press into place, and many of the pieces simply do not fit, period. We ended up using a pocketknife to shave a small strip off the bottom of the pieces that wouldn't go in, which at least allowed them to fit - somewhat less securely in many cases - but it was still quite painful to pop them into place. That was a major blemish on an otherwise very smooth assembly process. The hellishness of the plastic pieces is the only reason I'm giving the bed four stars instead of five. Especially for the price, the bed is excellent.

    Decent quality for the money

My two middle sons sleep on this bed. They love the way it looks. I thought, from reading reviews, that it would be sturdier than it actually is. I can make it shake, but it is decently solid. For the price, I would purchase it again. Like others have said, the ladder hurts my feet, but my 7 year old doesn't complain at all. I plan on getting the pipe insulation foam to try to ease this a little.

    Sturdy

Bed is sturdy the paint wears fast but for the price its good. If you are using a foam mattress you will need a board to go over the crossbars to stop the mattress from extruding out the bottom

    Great price

This bed is great for the price. My son loves it. He is 7 and it is perfect for him. I did need to anchor it to the wall for security and the other reviewers who complain about the ladder rungs hurting their feet are correct. But, for my son, it works great.

    Amazingly sturdy and very good-looking

We have 2 boys and I must say this bunk bed is very "manly" and they love it. The frame is rock-solid and doesn't wobble. This doesn't bring back old memories of creaky bunk beds from summer camps. Thanks to everyone else who posted reviews and warned about getting the holes to face the right directions so that the ladder can be attached. I put everything together in 3 hours mostly by myself, with my wife helping from time to time to hold something up while I put a screw in. Also like how you don't need box springs. Saved a ton of money and space. I like it so much I'm ordering another for our guest room. It's nice the beds can be put side-by-side rather than stacked, so you can easily adjust for couples or kid sleepovers.

    Awesome

My daughters had limited space in their room and this is perfect. The younger daughter sleeps on the loft bed and my older daughter has the head of her queen bed underneath. It looks great and its sturdy. The bars for the ladder are a little thin, so could hurt the feet, but my daughter has no problems.

    love it

Very nice and comfortable. My kids enjoyed hanging out with their new bunk bed. Assembling it was not difficult task to do.
