Thick comfortable mattress! And nice solid frame. Super heavy! Definitely a two person job. Perfect for our upstairs den/play area. Sits higher off the ground so good for longer legs when in the seated position. Also so nice for the cost! Most futons I looked in this price range were just the frame and mattress had to be purchased separately.
Very pleased. Have had it for a little over 2 months and its very comfortable and sturdy. Easy to assemble IF you follow the directions. Try to wing it and youll easily assemble it incorrectly.
Only issue is with getting it to unlock so it lay flat. Gotta sorta jiggle it to get the frame to let go, but once it does its good to go.
Very nice futon and lovely. It is way to hard. I cannot sleep on it without terrible pain. Kids can sleep on it without not but not adults. It does not have 3 positions. I do t know why they claim that. I was very disappointed that it doesnt sit straight up. Only leans back and lays flat to sleep. Thats why I got it. To sit straight in it as a couch and to sleep on it. I got neither. It still smells after over 3 weeks. The wood smell is too strong.
We ordered this couch for a condo remodel. We had previously had a similar one a few years ago from Sears that we loved. Heads up though on delivery! showed a date that was still over a week out and then finally gave FedEx tracking. Still showing days away from delivery. We registered right away with FedEx and it was delivered 15 minutes later. No signature required, just set outside our door. We were out of town. Luckily neighbors brought in to their garage. Suggest you set up your FedEx account ahead of time. It is nice big couch, looks good. It has allot of pieces to assemble but not hard just time consuming.
Futon frame was not adequately packed to prevent damage. Components were not completely secured and the wood bundle is only protected with plastic and a thin layer of stryofoam. One of the slats was dinged in (2) places due to loose components sliding around in the box. All of the longer wood pieces are finger jointed - they dont tell you that in the description... Because of the different pieces of wood, the staining is not consistent and you can visibly see some of the finger joints - event on arm rests! Why wouldnt you use a solid piece of wood for the armrests?!? Instructions are decent, but not perfect. Overall it looks good at a distance. The mattress arrive 8 days later with no notice from DCG Stores. The mattress is made to order by Royal Sleep Products in Fort Worth, TX (Go USA!). The queen size mattress is heavy and comes in a tight roll binded by soft plastic - tricky to cut off without damaging the mattress, but I managed. Im letting the mattress lie flat for a few days to let the foam fill expand to its normal size. Im happy with the color I selected (Royal Blue). Overall, Im satisfied with the overall look, build, and operation of the futon, but not happy with the finger jointed arm rests or the damaged slat and other minor dings. I will keep it only because I could not find another in the style or finish I wanted from other sellers. Giving (3) star review because of subpar customer service when trying to find out when the mattress would be delivered.

Sturdy comfy and looks nice
I love this futon. Its exactly as I wanted. It didnt take my husband too long to build. Maybe 2 1/2 hours.
