Very nice bed but the shipping came to 88 dollars for each bed. I would not recommend buying these online. You are better off going to rooms to go for that price.
Bed came with 2 sets of hardware. One in white and one in a natural wood tone. It did make my sons room smell of plywood for about a month. The one weird thing is that the bed is slightly long for a regular twin size mattress when used without the headboard. So, when my son goes to slide off the bed, I have to worry about him scraping his shins (hes only 2, so he doesnt always remember). And, its still a tad too high for him to climb into on his own, so we have a little step stool on the end. Assembly did take about 3 hours, but, for the price, it was well worth it.
I bought this for my 6 year old daughters room, when it arrived there we 3 pieces broke. I immediately claled the company in Canada and there was no hassle in getting replacements. They did take about 10 to 14 days to arrive. Putting together was ok until we got to the drawers. The did not line up the the pre drilled holes, we had to make our own. The pieces that hold the mattress do not look at stable so when they do give out we will replace with something stronger.
Overall, despite the hassles I like the way it looks.
We bought this bed over 3 years ago for our daughter, who was three at the time. Storage is tight in our house, so I knew I wanted a bed with drawers underneath. I looked at some well-known brands and got sticker shock, so I thought Id try this cheaper version instead. It has held up very well! The drawers still open and close easily. We use them for clothing storage and they are very convenient. Adults have slept on this bed with no problem. (We have a basic memory foam mattress.) My only complaint is that the drawer knobs fall out... we have 3 of our original 6 still in place. I just need to buy new knobs and glue them in place as another reviewer suggested, and it will be fine. All in all, Im pretty thrilled with this bed for the price. Im actually here on to buy an identical one for my younger daughter! This is hardly an heirloom, but its a great choice for a kid who is ready for a big kid bed and who knows, it might last into her teenage years.
This Item is a good buy. The problem is it comes with very small drawers compared with the depth of the unit itself, and the potential for much deeper drawers - which I will make myself. Even with that, the unit is sturdy enough and finished well, making it worth the money

Paired with a foam mattress this will make a perfect bed for tweens or guests. The three drawers at the bottom lets one use up lost space as a built in dresser.
Assembly requires a masters degree of Furniture Assembly, as once you assemble enough of these types of manufactured furniture the instructions become irrelevant. First timers should stock up on spirits and prep the coffee pot for a long weekend.
We were looking for a platform bed with storage for a teenagers room. This works very well, is very sturdy. One piece was broken, and we returned it, with s usual speedy replacement. It was fairly complicated to assemble, taking several hours, but it looks well and so far has handled four or five teenagers sitting on it at a time without damage. Altogether an excellent value.
Bought this for my 8 year old son, wasnt too hard to put together. My only concern is the drawers themselves are a bit hard to open. Other than that its a good bed, I plan on replacing it when hes a teen anyways, so hopefully it will last that long.
