Bought this for myself (24 years old, 56, 190 lbs).
With the mattress and my fat 12 lb cat jumping up there, probably pushing the weight limit! It sways when Im climbing up, but that seems normal. Doesnt move too much when I roll around at night.

If youre looking for a space saver for your kids room this is perfect! My son loves it and now hell have room to put his art desk and tv under his bed and make a lounge for himself. Although there were sooo many pieces the assembly was actually easy following the directions. I only had a problem with securing one of the base pieces to lay the mattress on because the piece was slightly bent.
My son loves this bed. He was unsure at first, but now its like his fortress. Hes up there ALL the time. It doesnt squeak when you roll around and it doesnt wobble much if at all. Well made and a very good purchase for us.
