We bought this bed directly from sellers and we LOVE it The order arrived in 6 double boxed boxes and inside everything was individually labeled. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. I would recommend 2 people because it does take a while to assemble. The drawers are spacious and the stairs have non slip strips on them. Definitely worth the purchase And did I mention shipping was fast!! We ordered this on a Sunday and it arrived by Wednesday. We purchased an 8 in for the top bunk but it didnt fit in the trundle so be mindful you will need a 6 in when you start loo for mattresses.
Extremely well constructed piece of furniture and probably the best instructions I have ever seen. Very pleased with this purchase. The beds took about three hours to put together and I did it mostly by myself. The stairs took just as long if not longer. Some of the pieces in the stairs were a little scuffed up but it turns out they were all internal pieces. The only down side is all of the connections, including the screw heads, are exposed which seems like something that could be easily fixed but from the picture we knew this prior to purchasing. All in all though great value for a REAL all natural wood piece of furniture.
The wood is solid not particle board. We were planning on getting a similar bed from Pottery Barn Kids for 3x the price. But the PB Kids one was not solid wood. It took several hours to put together and went faster with 2 people. Came together nicely and looks beautiful put together. An electric screwdriver is useful for some parts of the assembly as they are not pre/drilled holes, especially for the drawers.
This is a great quality bed, very sturdy and beautifully made. When it arrived it is overwhelming to assemble the pieces. There were maybe 2 screws missing but otherwise everything came. The stairs works perfectly for my 4 year old who isnt comfortable with ladders. This is a great solution for younger kids. The extra storage in drawers is also very nice and holds a lot more than I thought. Definitely happy with the quality of the bed.
We got this for our daughters room and it looks great. Made of solid wood, this bunk bed came in 6 boxes and quite heavy. The instruction were pretty easy to follow but took a while to built since I have to do it all by myself, if you have two people, it should go a lot faster. I like that all the parts are labels and all the screws and nails are also labeled. There were a part of the drawer that came broken, but an email to them was replied promptly and the replacement part was received within 4 days. Just a fyi, in step number 9, make sure you note the orientation of the center support holes in the upper cross bars in the upper bunk bed, so that they all face the outside of the bed for the center support bar to be attached. When I did it, one was facing inside and the other faced outside, so I had to create my own screw hole to attach the center support bar. You should also put furniture pads on the support legs before the bed is finish if you need to move it later.
My daughter loves her new bed and the steps to the upper bunk is so much easier to climb than a ladder. Even though she cant use the upper bunk yet until she is 6, she loves playing on it while under our supervision. We love how much storage this bunk bed has, beside the 4 drawers in the stairway, there are also 3 slots on the side for more storage space.
The bed came in very good packaging and arrived in excallent shape. The instructions were easy to follow though you do need at least two people to put it together. Very sturdy and pretty finish. All in all a great bunk bed for a good price. My granddaughters love the stairs and big drawers.
Got our bed quicky, in 2 shipments. Started with boxes 1, 2, 3, which built the bunk bed itself. The stairs were boxes 4 5, box 6 was the trundle.
Setup takes a while. I did the full, 6 box assembly over 3 different days. I recommend a good drill with Allen and Phillips bit attachments. Be prepared to have a LOT of cardboard to recycle. but that is because each box is double/boxed to protect the contents.
My wife and sons love the beds. They are solid, very sturdy, dont rock or squeak, look good, they even smell good. They are beautiful beds, I fully expect them to last for many, many years. This was an investment for our family, so we did the research first, we are very pleased.
