I couldnt finish strengthening the top side rail with the extra boards on the outside due to a complete lack of drill holes in the board to even put them there. Its considerably less strong and bends so pressure applied has to be careful until a DIY improvisation can be figured out, massive disappointment after all the work.
Its a great bed other than that so Im really bummed that they would fall through on such an important safety issue.
It took my mother and I who are amateurs with this stuff hours to put it together because we were in a small bedroom so I recommend you have a larger space.
Directions were very easy to follow. Easiest to lay out pieces First that go together. Very sturdy and well constructed. Great for small spaces. Full mattress fit perfectly.
This bed is so sturdy and worth the money, so recommend worth every penny. The only thing is the sides are not high at all so we just bought s bumper that goes underneath the sheet. Easy fix. Must buy this bed
My son loves the bed and it really opens up his space! Its simple to put together as in I understand and can do what its asking, but yall… you gotta screw in each individual slat under the mattress. EVERY. ONE. It nearly cost me my marriage, but we decided we couldnt let the loft bed for a 6 year old win. Ill update you after marriage counseling. Everything else with the bed is great… except my marriage. We would still buy again!
After less then 12 months one of the main frame boards split. I have had 0 success calling the company and their website has been broken for over a month
Bought two of these beds. 1 bed was perfect. The other one, not so much. 4 bowed, can push in and out. 16 wood split and hole was not deep enough for the bolt. By the time you figure all this out, you are too far along in the process. There were actually differences between the good and bad bed wood pieces. 6 part of the good bed was grey and in 3 pieces, the bad was reg wood and one solid piece. The bad 11 drill holes were off and slats were cut too short, had to screw some in at an angle . The good one seems solid. If you order this bed, make sure you ask for a good one (lol).
Bought for my teenager. She wanted a college dorm style room. This loft bed provided the perfect combination of style and function. Plenty of space for storage underneath and still not so high as a bunk bed.

Bolts are cheap
The bolts heads strip out easily, even when using a good quality Allen wrench.
