Took awhile to set up of course, but I thought the instruction were clear and didnt have any issues. The railings are a little thin, and feel like they will break, but we have had it for four months now and they are still holding. The bottom bunk does not have a lot of room, I am 54 and can not sit up in the bottom bunk, but we bought it for the slide out bed underneath, and that is the main reason why there is not much room in the bottom bunk. Love the draws in the steps but the kids did pull of one of the front draws as they are only holding with a couple little screws. We did have to reinforce the front piece of the draws, couple bucks to buy a couple hinges and screws and they are a lot more sturdy now wont have to worry about the kids puling the front of the draw off again. I would recommend just doing it right away.
Love this bed! Delivery was quick! Packaging was sturdy to help insure it wouldnt be damaged easily in shipping. It came completely disassembled (including the stairs). Which is what we needed to get it upstairs in our house. Took a little bit to put together but the instructions were easy to follow. Its a very sturdy bed. My older daughter has balance issues and is not fond of heights. She will have no problems with this top bunk though. The stairs are very solid and the railings are plenty tall enough. My three year old has no problems getting up and down from the top bunk. Its solid and I feel she is very safe while getting up and down it. Lots of drawer and cubby/shelf room as well.There were two boards missing toward the end of putting it together. We emailed the company and got almost an immediate response. They will be shipping the missing parts tomorrow. Very happy and satisfied with everything. Great customer service. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase with them. Big thumbs up!
My 15 year old son put this together. It took him about 2.5 hours to put it all together. The stairs could have been a little bit sturdier but overall pretty good quality.
Cons: instructions were terrible, and the hardware given was not very good and some didnt even work, I had to go out and get some of my own hardware, bottom drawers are cheap and not very sturdy, also one of the boards to the steps had a crack going down it, power drill needed
Pros: after the bed was set up (8 to 10 hours) it seemed pretty sturdy. The stairs are nice, drawers work well, looks like an overall nice bunk bed
This is a solid bed. well designed, and while it took a while to assemble, and I did have a friend help me, it went fine in a couple of hours. I did buy three mattresses, and put mattress support boards under them. There was only one design flaw, the holes for the handrail did not attache to the bed correctly, and the small clip holding the stairs to the bed was flimsy and broke. I had to drill a hole and install my own lag screw in the top, and replace the angle clip on the bottom to hold together. Not a big deal for me, but you need to be handy. having an electric drill for screws is essential (my friend had 2, and we used botha lot). Storage is nice, drawers are really pretty good and smooth. One note. the finish on the bed is solid and attractive. However, there was a distinct fume from the bed, and it has lasted a while. It is slowly dissipating, (3 months) so be aware. If you can allow time to air it before using, I would advise.
It is just as described; a very good value for the price. Very sturdy, smooth finish, I would buy it again. It does take about 3hrs to put together, but the instructions make sense, and are straightforward. Recommended.
I love this bed! It was a lot of work to put together but so worth it. Theres tons of storage space and it is very well-crafted. So pleased with this purchase!

Very sturdy
Weve had these beds for 6 months and they are holding up very well. They get a lot of use and they are still stable and dont move at all.
