Seems great so far only a couple of complaints:
1. Those half Moon cams are garbage. About half of mine were damaged and I had to recut the threads with the bolt requiring far more effort than if should have been.
2. One of my side rails was crazy warped. Made putting it together interesting to say the least.
3. Needs a better system to hold the top bunk onto the bottom bunk. That cheap dowell and 8 small screws could be greatly improved upon.
Overall not bad at all for the price.
The only downside about this bunk bed is that the bottom bunk doesnt have much space. Great for a little one but you cant sit up in the bottom bunk or youll hit your head. I never had that issue with mine as a kid. Other than that its great.
Very impressed with the assembly on this product - though its not quick to assemble - its done very well and at a high quality. Ive assembled lots of furniture in my time, and this was probably the best quality as far as putting a more complicated piece of furniture together. Its a very nice quality bunk bed, very sturdy and looks really nice. Its nice that you can choose which side the stairs are on since I wasnt even sure until I was halfway putting it together which way I wanted to go. The drawers fit and work very well, the safety features are good and the height and spacing between the bunks is just right. The screws are very long and strong - a good sign of the sturdiness as well. The packaging came in 4 pieces. The labeling on the pieces was a little confusing - but eventually I figured out what was what. The stairs is definitely more inviting to the kids than a ladder - and because it can carry quite a bit of toys and things, it doesnt hog the space. Excellent bunk bed.
Overall, this bunk bed is good enough at such a price level. Its made of all solid pine wood. The height between two beds is comfortable for an adult to sit on the lower bed. Its just what I need for my two kids.
But I am sorry that I still have to take one star away.
First, there are two packages in all. But Fedex just delivered one to me at the first day. And it was said that it had been delivered at s system. After contacting the seller, the other package was delivered some days later.
Second, there are some sunk parts due to the delivery defects. But as they are large packages, its too hard to return or exchange. I just accept it because it wont effect much while using.
Third, the most crazy thing when I assembling, there are some holes too shallow so that I have to adjust those wood slots accordingly by myself. It did cause some troubles. Here are some pictures for your reference.
It would be beneficial to have a cordless drill with both a long philips bit and an allen bit. It was time consuming because there are alot of parts. It took about 6 hours. But we are thrilled with the results.
This was kinda a pain to put together due to you had to use your hand tools the entire time the areas where they were connecting the wood was super fragile so be cautious. Additionally lanes were stickers and some of those were not there so we had a guessing game. But once all together my toddlers love it

Really hard to put together. Pay the fee to get it done for you. Great quality they look amazing.
