I put this bed together in less then an hour!! It wouldnt have taken that long except I didnt read the instructions before I started assembling it (My fault) After I realized my mistake it went much faster and I am so pleased with how nice this bed is! I am going to order another one for my guest room! Love it.
I have purchased 3 bed frames. They are extremely sturdy and very easy to put together. I purchased the first one over a year ago and it is still as sturdy as the one I purchased last week.
There is not anything especially Heavy Duty about this. Its cheap metal, same cheap bolts. It works. I think the wood slats could have been a bit better quality. Does the job for a cheap basement mattress I retreat to on nights I dont want to disturb my wife. But I would not make this your primary bed. And I wouldnt choose this because you think its any more heavy duty than the other options.
I am actually impressed with this bed frame, after plenty research I decided to take a chance on this Okay the directions arent the best, my husband was very confused so I stepped in I decided we put it together with common sense I believe he put too much thought into it because assembly was a breeze after building plenty of furniture nothing is too complicated to me We tightened all the screws last and I also added Door/ease lubricant wax stick to every groove and screw to prevent any squeaks if any The space for storage underneath is aming and it is great quality, nothing was missing or bent. The only thing I could say is it slips and slides easily over hardwood floor but Im getting an area rug anyways

I just purchased a DreamCloud mattress and my old frame wouldnt accommodate it so after extensive research I settled on this one and it is perfect! It came with everything I needed for my new mattress and I wanted to be able to store underneath and it has plenty of room to do so. You cant beat the price either. You wont be disappointed
I really like this bed frame.but! It is well packaged, easy to assemble, and has a solid designbut 5 of the wood slats are defective. The slats are built from laminated wood (thin strips of wood glued together). This method is used to make strong building materials, like sheets of plywood and massive glue/lam beams. But, five of the bed slats arrived partially delaminated; the thin pieces are separating. This is a manufacturing defect (not enough glue, or not enough pressure, or ? When this happens, they lose their strength. I can only assume other slats will fail.

It seems sturdy. We have bought bedframes before that only lasted 2 nights of my husbands nephew lying down on it and it literally broke! So far this has handled 2 guests of average size and also been tested by my dude and I. It seems pretty sturdy.
CON
Be careful about putting the screws on. We have bought 3 bedframes for our house. There was 1/2 screws that will refuse to cooperate and not be completely aligned.
It didnt have any footrest or headboard.
Had to buy a separate one, but we were after the sturdiness of the bedframe and the height to be able to put stuff under the bed for extra storage. For that, it seems to fit our requirements.
We will see after 3 months if this holds true.
