I've been looking at Eames style clam chairs for a while. After a LOT of research I finally chose these...and seriously, I couldn't be more pleased. They are absolutely gorgeous! The seat is comfortable...both sturdy and flexible. I really appreciated how well the product was packaged for shipping. The shipping box looked pretty banged up and so we were really pleased that the chairs came through without a single scratch. Unlike another reviewer, ours have black screws in the legs like the original Eames. These chairs are so cool and beautiful, they seem like functional art. Even my husband said this was an excellent buy. Do?? Score one for the wife who loves to decorate! Sheryl
We bought these because they are stylish, affordable, and because of their size, we were able to fit 8 chairs on our patio table that would normally seat 6. They are a great value for the money, and we've gotten many compliments on them. My husband, who is 6'0'' tall and over 200 pounds finds them comfortable.
The chair was easy to assemble and I loved the way it looked. They felt a little bouncy with the plastic, so not incredibly comfortable, but they were fine as an occasional-use chair. I assembled them in late January for a table that I use as a secondary workspace. I sit there maybe 3-4 days a week, for a few hours each day. Today I went to sit on one and noticed that the plastic had split right where the leg attached to the bottom. I'm well below the maximum weight capacity, so I'm not sure why after only a few months the seat is broken. Very disappointing.
Terrible quality. Wish I never purchased. Opened only to immediately return. Had to wait several days for a return label from the seller. Why? They dont even cover your return shipping. What a terrible seller!!! Theres a reason they dont pay for return shipping. (Scam). They know they have an inferior product and know it will be returned. Avoid at all costs! Bad product, worse seller.
I will add a picture or two once I put them around my table. But, before then, I must say how much more surprised I am about how beautiful these chairs are. They were easy to assemble. They match my table, which was purchased on , perfectly. I really was very awe-struck about how gorgeous these are. I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend them. They are comfortable. They have some give at the back, which I love. Great chairs, great price.

Screws
Half of the screws have fallen out and I cant find replacements. They also flip over easily
