I liked the design and its a comfortable and firm for sitting or sleeping. Its definitely made in china and putting it together took a little time to figure out. It was an awkward assembly. I purchased Navy and its not quite Navy. Somewhat lighter than Navy. The construction of the futon isnt the highest quality as the headline says, You get what you pay for. Whats questionable, is how the company prices these units. The Navy and Pink are 365. Green increases to 589 and the Gray is priced at 1119.00 The same unit in different colors has a cost range from 365. to 1119. Thats a spread of 754.00. I preferred the Gray over the Navy, but paying 300 more for a color? No way. Thats a ripoff and seller should be embarrassed.
Simple straight forward assembly though pay attention to the legs as they are angled and youll want to get the right direction. Its firm yet comfortable and sturdy. Can be unboxed and assembled in about an hour. The toughest part is disposing of the cardboard box when youre finished.
THIS futon is the best it is very comfortable to sleep on and I am very happy I got this!
For those in a studio apartment, one bedroom apartment, two bedroom apartment or even your home where company stays this futon is very soft and very easy to clean!
It wasnt that difficult to assemble (unlike my dresser I got from somewhere online I got it 3 weeks ago and I cant even figure out the assembly / I need a handyman lol) but this futon was very quick to assemble my Mom and I finished it in 1 day and 1/2 hr to assemble.
Even my cat approves of it if hes this comfy!
I ordered this couch in grey velvet but it definitely looks a bit blue to me. The color is not what it looks like in the pictures. Otherwise, the couch is fine.

Its been two years of regular use and this futon is as comfy and handsome as ever. I am often asked if it is a vintage couch. It receives endless compliments and, now that I have it, I cant imagine how I ever lived without it! I recently moved and had to lift it up a very narrow spiral staircase / that was at first impossible. But all I had to do was break it down and the job was EASY! The hinges in the middle can be removed, so if you are moving this alone or having difficulty like I was, simply remove all parts (legs and arms) and unhinge the baby, and youll be good as gold! The parts on their own are all light and super easy to reassemble.
If you are receiving this new and it is too heavy to move on your own, the arms come inside a zipped compartment in the base of the futon. Take them out and unscrew the hinges at the center of the couch and you can surely move the four pieces on your own. I love this thing.

I am in LOVE with this futon! Pleasantly surprised by the quality and size. Its easy to assemble, but sturdy. It looks and feels luxurious. I watch movies and read and live on my new futon. I nap on it. It is perfect.
AWESOMENESS! This convertible sofa is great! High quality and well made. It is firm but comfortable. The velvet fabric is really nice and feels great. The color, grey, is nice and uniform, and true to the grey color spectrum/I dont see a bluish tint or anything. I am replacing a Serta made Montgomery futon I bought thinking that the coils in it were an important aspect. That futons coil ended up shifting out of place. Im hoping the foam in this one lasts without breaking down or flattening. I sleep on mine every night and it is where I am most of the time watching TV. I LOVE it and cant recommend it enough! Reviews have held great weight with my decision making and I assure you that this review of mine is truthfully given. I couldnt be happier!
Im impressed with this couch. It was really easy to set up, I love the dark teal color, its very soft fabric. The cushion is thin but a good balance between soft and firm. I think if it was a bit thicker Id give it 5 stars. For the price this is a steal.

Good/looking comfortable couch.
