Its definitely not what I would describe as memory foam. Its hard. Ill have to buy an actual memory foam topper for someone to sleep on this. As for looks, it looks great.
The reviews under this item were all for a futon but I decided to roll the dice and buy it because I liked the color. Had several issues with the delivery date changes but was able to get it straightened out. The chair was super easy to assemble. Somehow the box was full of tiny pieces of grit looked like the envelope of moisture control pellets split open and they went everywhere. The chair is roomy and comfynot a tall chair so you wont be leaning your head on the back of it, but for the price and how much itll actually be used, Im happy with this item.
This couch looks awesome in my office/lounge. The assembly was easy and it came in great condition! I love the color! It looks exactly how it was pictured online. Its not very soft though. but not hard either. If I wanted to sleep on it Id probably put a mattress pad over it. But I expected that having read so many reviews before I bought it. Overall, its super cute and I love it!
Just received this futon today. It has some very innovative engineering to allow it to come folded in a relatively small box. Setup was easy but may be a little more challenging for a smaller person. Make sure you tighten up all the bolts completely. You dont want any wobble or you are asking for breakage. The couch is quite nice and give my home office a place to nap and for guests to stay without breaking the bank. It folds down easily and is comfortable. I like my bed hard so it may be firm for some For the price I think its a great value and great addition to our home.
I really love this. I was hesitant to purchase since these reviews are all over the place. I put it together myself / including unpacking in an hour and a half. It was a good easy assembly, I just took time to do it right. The color is a perfect light blush pink / it is not pepto bismal at all. The material is soft brushed microfiber, very velvety. It is both pretty and bohemian and it is exactly what I wanted. I also got it 2 days after I ordered it, and I do not use P rim e. I was expecting it lower to the ground, since I read the measurements. But is not too low, and it is very comfortable for sitting or napping. Unpacking and unfolding were no problem, even for a 54 woman by herself.
I have a number of memory foam pillows and my mattress is also memory foamthis couch is not memory foam. My back hurts if I sit on it for more than 30 min. And im only 28 with no history of back problems.
Very aesthetically pleasing though if you just want a couch that looks good.
I would have returned it if that was a feasible option.
I was able to assemble this myself without too much difficulty. The process of ordering/receiving was a little quirky, as I actually canceled my order because it was taking too long for my situation. I was charged and received it anyway, just a few days later. Im glad I did! It sits very firm (think padded church pew) but my wife loves it. Also, its exceptionally comfortable when laid out. Sturdy enough for two adults to snuggle up on, and Great Dane approved. I would purchase again!

Cute sofa but not very comfortable
I bought this sofa because it was the only one that would go easily up to my 2nd floor apartment. It is very cute but not comfortable at all.
