This rocker is comfortable and strong!

Easy to assembleWe read over another post that explained how they assembled. We had 8 short screws and used them on the back and sides. The longer screws went into the rockers. We also took their advise and used a screwgun and only put them to a 1/4 inch of completion. After assembly we hand tightened them. We only looked at the instructions to figure out what side was the front and the back of seat (the tag goes in the back) The rocker is comfortable and strong. My husband is 6and wears a large the chair was comfortable for him. We wanted rockers on our upper deck and did not want wood as there is no roof and deals with high winds. The rocker can take all the elements thrown at it except maybe a hurricane. LOL Ordered 2, one arrived and the other will be here in two days. Aruba became available and we snatched it, and number 3 will arrive later this week. We are building a rainbow of color with these. This is a great rocker. We are on our fourth rocker.more to come! Not sure why people had a hard time assembling theirs. Every one we put together was fast and easy. Follow instructions above!

    Well Built, Nice Looking

Excellent product made in the USA. Needs a cushion for maximum comfort.

    Sturdy and robust, but uncomfortable

The review headline about sums it up. This chair looks good, seems to be made of quality materials and is very sturdy, but unfortunately it is not that comfortable. The seat isnt quite deep enough front/to/back and the back is a bit too upright for my 511, 215 lb. frame. Smaller folks might find it more comfortable. I use a pillow in the lumbar region, and I find that it improves the comfort. By the way, this model appears to be the exact same chair as the one sold in the LLBean catalog for 100 more. Im glad I bought this one, because I would have really been disappointed having spent that much more for an uncomfortable chair.

Quality item but have to wait a long time with no shipping updates

Quality is still there/ but customer service, and shipping speeds seriously lacking.

    Nice chairs.

I bought 2 of the grey ones from a different store. I love them. I put them together by myself (60 yr old female) and it took 30/45 minutes per chair. I did strip the head from one of the screws and had to get a replacement from the hardware store. A word of caution: When installing the chair back, make sure the tacks are in the back. It doesnt structurally make a difference, but it looks better.

Expected better quality at a 200+ price point.

Very disappointed with the fit finish on the mortise and tenons. Way too sloppy for a 200+ chair. I have two that look awful. Update: increasing my rating to 4 stars due to excellent customer service regarding no/hassle parts replacement and quick shipping. They still lose a star for the hassle of having to contact them, and time wasted to replace the parts.

The instructions are clear and correct.

The chair is well made and the parts fit correctly. The finished product is attractive and it looks like it will handle our weather nicely. The only negative was that the promised T/handle hex driver was missing which slowed me down. Can you please send me one. I got by but Id like the T/handle to get things tightened better.

    Excatly as pictured

Assembly was fairly okay for one person. It wasnt perfectly even but I was able to make it work. You can get cheap pillows for cushions as its not the most comfy thing to sit on. Overall, it looks nice for an outdoor rocking chair.

The screw holes are not drilled all the way through!

Yep. The picture shows the holes on the outside of the part, but theyre not there. Luckily, I had a drill and the right/size bit so I could drill them myself. It would have been easier to assemble with two people but is completely doable solo, which is what I did. Other than that, the directions are pretty clear, the chair seems very sturdy and comfortable. They just need a little quality control!!

    Really need two people

This is a great rocking chair, I like that it is solid plastic whatever, and has a nice rocker. Bad part is that it was very hard as one persons to align and assemble the second part of the chair. Screwing in the screws to the receiving end was very hard, you had to make the screws enter just the right place (where the receiving screw hole was) and you really need a second person to help. I managed but it is not perfect alignment.
