The trundle bed is sturdy and the style is very nice. It came in A LOT of pieces. The directions are all pictures and no words. Some of the pictures are unclear. The pieces fit together without a problem. Time consuming, but with 3 people it should be done in 2-3 hours. Make sure the mattress frame has the lip pointing up and not down. You will probably need bed risers to fit a mattress cover, sheets, and spread on the lower bed. Overall, a nice looking bed. Mattress I bought were perfect fit and comfort. Linenspa memory foam as suggested.
Purchased for my 7 year olds small bedroom. The bed is very sturdy and durable-jump worthy! You need the proper tools to put it together-but pretty easy. The trundle is nice - the only issue is that the slats are canvas not wood. So I would recommend not jumping on the trundle. Overall very pleased and a great price.
This bed is adorable, well made and easy to assemble. I got it entirely put together in a couple of hours with only a manual screwdriver. Not sure if it was the bed or the mattresses but I had to keep the door to that room shut for over 2 weeks while it all aired out so if you are sensitive to smells you might want to let it sit open in your garage for a couple of days before bringing it inside. Otherwise I love it and so do my grandchildren!
