We purchased this bed for our 1.5 year old as he was ready to transition from his crib to a big bed. This is just high enough off the floor that I can easily lay down to read him stories, but isnt so tall he cant get up himself. We chose this bed frame specifically so he wouldnt get hurt if he fell off the bed. I am happy to report he has not fallen off of the bed even once, but if he did he would not get hurt. Adults should be mindful when sitting on the edge of the bed, as the wooden slats will at times shift and pop out of place. I am now more mindful when I go to sit on the bed to not place all of my weight on one end or side. This bed is extremely easy to assemble and works great with the Zinus 5-inch mattress we purchased for it.
I needed something low enough to reduce any chance of injury of my two little dogs when they jump up on the bed, but just high enough for me to get up and out of - I am 54. This bed frame is perfect. Sturdy, easy to assemble and looks good.
This frame is strong as hell. Itll handle a 250-350+ with ease. Now a couple thats 250 a piece or 350 a piece will crush it!. But all around its worth every penny.
The footboard doesnt come above my mattress and the headboard part seems much taller and thicker than in real life. The actual product is like a toy (kids, small) version of what you see in the picture. I wouldnt use this bed anywhere but in a kids room. Luckily thats where it was going so we kept it. It is sturdy and will likely last my son until high school.
Excellent bed frame. The bed frame came well packaged with no missing or damaged parts. Assembly was relatively easy once a system was figured out. Assembly took about an hour with 2 people. Not sure how it would work with one. Bed frame is extremely sturdy. The only negative is that the cross members and the sides are at the same level which results in the mattress being able to slide sideways. This hasnt been an issue so far but could be in the future.
Instructions terrible and pieces mislabeled- once we figured out correct pieces which were mislabeled, easier to put together. Had all the pieces been labeled correctly and instructions easier to read, it probably would have taken half the time.

Its was easy to put together. I did it myself! (Women, 53 110 lbs) it was a little tough but I got it and I love it!
