For the price, the setup is rather nice. It felt quite sturdy to me for the price as well. Much better than the last one I purchased on Groupon. It has soft pads you can stick to the bottom of the entire tree and the ramp that touches the ground so that it helps to not scratch up your hardwood floors and would probably be easily moveable on carpet too. The only thing that could be better is a sturdier toy. Our boy cat tore it off within a week or less of having it. We had to use the replacement already. Thats the only issue I have.
Ive had this cat condo for a little over a year, so I feel qualified to fully endorse it. I bought it after I adopted two sister kittens. Within five minutes, they were exploring it and using the scratching pole. They liked to sleep in the penthouse top together. A year later, the two wont fit up top anymore, but one sleeps there every night and they both use it for naps. The skittish sister also tends to hide in the lower boxes when we have company over.
Even our older formerly feral street cat, who never had any use for cat trees or cat toys, likes to visit this cat tower. I think the kittens have taught her how to be more playful.
So I would definitely buy this again. Not only does it get plenty of use from the cats, it looks nice and doesnt take over the room.
This is a very sturdy, nice the cat tree. I just went through a little trouble assembling it. It has a bracing nut/bolt Ive never come across before. But all said, I am very happy with it. My cat loves it too!
this tower was bought to replace the current tower i had for my cat. my cat is an 11lb egyptian mau whos a lil bit on the heftier side in regards to his lower half ( aka hes got those shakira hips and a pooch ) so the tower doesnt exactly fit him to how id like ( and hed like ), so theres somewhat of a struggle. the tower was too short for his liking, he likes to see out the bedroom window when hes in the top bed and couldnt, and the top bed was too small for how he wanted to relax ( keep in mind he likes to stretch out, legs being thrown in every which direction ). so i had to make a few adjustments by buying him an addon piece to put under the tower to make it taller and taking his bed from his old tower and putting it over the new tower and its bed. its been a few days since then but im safe to say that he enjoys it now
I have 2 cats and just received 2 days ago my 3rd cat condo like this one from PAWS ROAD. I see its not available any longer now. I bought 2 variations of this condo, very subtle differences by other sellers, but they werent quite as nice or as easy to assemble or made as well. Its a very sturdy piece and my 12 pound cats practically live in/on them. I strongly recommend this one but would buy from other sellers again too.
Only reason to replace them was to donate the used ones / there was nothing wrong with them.
