A nice, sturdy product! Assembly was clear and easy! The box was a bit on the heavy side, so heads up if you cant handle 121lbs solo…but after I dragged it in the house, I just took it piece by piece to where I wanted the cabinet.
The only difficulty I had in assembly was figuring out how to adjust the doors to the same height, but it went up very quickly. There arent more pieces than there needs to be, and the back isnt thick but its not the normal thin paper sheet. Very good design. The only thing sturdier would be solid natural wood.
Went together easily, though I am mechanically inclined. Only thing missing in the directions was dont tighten all the screws until they are all started. Out of 6 cabinets one had a slight nick in it that was easy to hide, not bad for the weight.
I've assembled dozens of furniture pieces in my life. I must say, I've never had a piece that would be such a high quality. The wood is a common particle board. However, the construction method and the screws used for assembly are incomparable. The back board is 2x as thick as what you typically find and it appears to be made of wood rather than a thick cardboard. The only flaw is that it has only two shelves and the spacing ends up being too high... we'll get some extra shelves in Home Depot. Despite, we love it so much that we can easily overlook the two shelf deal.
There is so much storage room in this thing. My husband saw how well it was made he did decide to go ahead and cut the base and chair rail to put it in permanently. It looks really nice at the end of my cabinets.
