    BEAUTIFUL Day Bed!

Beautiful bed. Trim and sleek, love the color. Now I need a trundle and the old one I had ( 74 pop up) will not fit. Not to difficult to put together. One thing my husband pointed out, is make sure all the white stickers are facing the insidewhich I didnt do an he had to take one side apart. LOOK at the picture.. The curve goes up on the side rails to match the back.If you follow the directions and have a little patience youll be fine. There was a small defect in mine, but I chose not to return as the pillows cover it. All in all its a really nice piece for the money. I hope this was helpful! I would recommend this!

Some of the screws are not as secure as I woud like therefore the bed is not sturdy

Cons: It took several hours to assemble the bed. Some of the screws are not as secure as I woud like therefore the bed is not sturdy. I should have retured but it was to much trouble. Pros: The design is nice ( just like the picture).

We love the bed, very nice look, really solid.

Adult Daughter loves the bed. Its very very very solid. No issues assembling other than clean out the predrilled holes first.

Fantastic Quality and easy to put together also tips for putting it together

Didnt take me long at all to put together. This bed is very good quality, very sturdy. The paint finish is very good and even, the holes all match up. Do yourself a favor though, get yourself a decent hex wrench with a handle on it - it will make all the difference in the world. As I am putting a foam mattress on it I will be making a bed board of 1/4 plywood to go over the slats. For those new to assembling things like this: Dont try to assemble it while it is standing up. Get yourself a little wood glue and put a dab in each hole where the slats go on the side panel (dont use the foam stoppers), assemble it while it is lying on the floor. Do the same for the backboard. With the backboard lying on the floor fit one side panel on and screw the screws in. Then put the other side panel into place. Very carefully put the front bed rail in then fasten the screws on the side panel. Again, very carefully turn the bed where the backboard is on the floor and finish installing the front rail screws.

    Good for a guest room

This is a pretty sturdy daybed. We purchased this bed for our guest room, and it looks very nice in that room. My only negative feedback is how difficult it is to put together. You need at least two people who are patient (and even then). Also, we discovered two knots in the woodwork that we had to remove in order to put pieces together. Its disappointing because now there is a crack and a chunk missing from two parts.

    fine bed for price

Put bed together and it really wasnt hard at all. All you need to do is read and follow instructions. Now the bed isnt an expensive bed so dont expect a $1,000 quality bed for this price. It is very sturdy I will say that but there were some minor chips in paint but nothing the average person looking at the bed will see. The only reason I saw them is because I put the bed together otherwise I wouldnt have a clue. The bed is for my two year old daughter and works great. It is a little higher than expected. She can climb out of bed on her own but harder for her to climb in alone but we put her to bed most of the time anyways. We also have her crib mattress on the floor at night in case she rolls out but for a week that we have had it she hasnt rolled out we put a pillow on that side and she seems to be doing fine with that.

nice bed! theyre not kidding though

nice bed! theyre not kidding though, you really need two people to put it together. I screwed a 1/4 piece of plywood down to the slats and it seemed to make a big difference on the stiffness of the entire bed.

    works well.

Was fairly easy to assemble, and works well. Nice piece of furniture. My only difficulty was the spindles in the back. But I would recommend it to friends.

This is not an assembly for the faint of heart or quitters. Trust me on this.

My husband and I have been married for a rock solid 29+ years, but the assembly of this bed damn near ended that. We are both very intelligent, skilled and technical individuals, not without good hand eye coordination and mechanical skills. Lots of previous reviews of this bed mentioned that it is a two person job to put this bed together, and they were not just kidding. With some counseling, I feel that our marital closeness can be restored, but if you want to put this bed together, you better hire someone who is both deaf and mute as your assistant, because guaranteed, one of you is going to be cussing up a storm. Now, once you spend the entire day messing this thing up and redoing it to finally get it right, it is sturdy and beautiful. All of the dowels and bolt holes lined up and we did not have to do any jerry-rigging. The assembly instructions were clear and concise and all the needed parts are there. The bed looks beautiful in our Asian inspired guest room and since neither my husband or I came out of the assembly process with black eyes, I guess I will keep it. The most pain in the ass part of putting this bed together is getting all those little slats to stay where they are supposed to. This is not an assembly for the faint of heart or quitters. Trust me on this. While I am overall very pleased with the finished product, I would not take on this assembly again for all the tea in China. I would gladly pay more and get one that didnt strain my marriage if I had it all to do over again.
