The bed arrived with all the parts needed to put it together, but some of the holes are drilled on the wrong side so it cant even be assembled. We contacted customer service and they assured us that they would send out new parts with correctly drilled holes as soon as possible, and if they were unable to do it quickly that they would just send out a whole new bunk. They needed proof of purchase which we sent in and we havent heard anything since then. Its been nearly three months since the last interaction. Im a bit frustrated because initially the customer service we received was great and I had hopes that we would get this issue sorted quickly. I really hope that the seller sees this because the bed is a honestly great quality with that one small issue aside, I just want to get it fixed.
Love it! Kids love it! All though it turned out great and nothing came damaged. It does look like the support for the mattress are not durable enough for a kid to jump on the bed. My kids dont do that so its not a big deal. Im like a kid size and weight so I wouldnt know if it supports a heavy weight. It was easy to assemble,alot of pieces but instructions were clear. My son 9 can not sit up on the bottom bunk but my 5 year old can . Their mattress is a simple standard mattress. (Just incase someone had questions if another type fits)
This low loft bed fit in my daughter's bedroom perfectly! I love that it's not too high off the ground, but I can still fit her toys bins underneath. It's also very sturdy.
I received this product and assembled it for my two sons. I come to find out that one of the half moon pieces (Qty 16, item E in the manual) is absolutely incorrect. The piece is different from all the other pieces and it doesnt even thread threw the bolt that it supposed to fasten to. At the time when the piece came off, my son was climbing on the side and I here a metal piece hit the floor. The whole top of the bunk bed couldve smashed my son at the bottom. Im not one to complain but this is a serious issue when it comes to quality control and the assembly line. If the company can please find a way to resolve this issue because I spent my money and time to complete this project yet this mistake from the company couldve cost a serious incident.
Delivered on time. Very heavy box which translate to safer bed in my mind. Instructions are clear, took me 3.5 hours to put together with two additional elementary school age helpers. Too bad the quality of the product is not as expected. The dowels came in different width making them super loose or super tight in different spots. Some pieces are drilled at weird angles and some pieces are scratched already when we first open the box. I thought it was a good deal when I bought it but now it's just meh.
Would have given it a 5 star but for some reason one of the screws didnt went all the way in where it was supposed to go. Over all is great I think, building instructions where easy to follow.
Love this bed! My toddler was so excited! Only reason I say 4 and not 5 stars is the top step to the ladder is a little tricky for kid since its so close to bed itself. Super sturdy.
Easy assembly, it took me and my friend 2 hours to assemble. Make sure that when your assembling you have the right parts in the exact spot bc ladder placement. We accidentally switched the two bottom side rails and had to quickly switch them around once we noticed.
As others have noted this product does have an awful smell that lingers, weve had this product set up for 3 days and i can still smell it upon entering the room even w the windows open.
After assembly I got on the top bunk to do a safety test to make sure it was sturdy before my kids used it. Although it did hold me just fine while lying down ( 170lbs) , when I got on the bed the pressure from me mounting the bed in a kneeling position caused the slat underneath me to make some sketchy cracking noise. As others have noted I added an extra set of slats to the top bunk. I had them from our old bed, but if your buying this I suggest ordering an extra set of slats and doubling up top.
Lastly, the side rails of the bed have weirdly sharp edges. The entire bed actually had sharp edges. I wish they were more rounded edges on the wood pieces.
My 4 y/o can get up using the awkward ladder just fine, and I love that I can kiss her goodnight on the on the top bunk very easily without having to climb it

One of the footboards boards was broken

SUPERB BUILD QUALITY!
Takes awhile to assemble but wow is it sturdy and top end material. The finish is flawless, directions were accurate and my kids love it.
