Easy to Assemble and Very Durable

My 12 and 9 year olds read the instructions and figured out to assemble the bed; it was that easy. I just functioned as the hired labor. Overall, it took us about an hour to put the bed together. The bed itself is rock solid and very sturdy. My daughters only complaint was the height of the bed. They wish there was more space between the bottom and top bunks. Based on this, I recommend using a thinner mattress on the bottom bunk.

    Comes scratched and dented

I received this bed, it was scratched and dented through out. Because of my current situation I was not able to even try to take it back for a return with the weight and the huge box or I would have.

Overwhelming at first but came together quickly!

When I initially took all the pieces outI was VERY overwhelmed. Im a single mom of 2 boys and not used to putting stuff together that comes in so many pieces. BUT the directions were SO clear, all parts were labeled, and all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver (for only 2 screws). It comes with everything else you need including extra hardware parts. While it took me a couple hours on my own, the sense of pride and accomplishment upon assembly is insurmountable. The help line is there and it looks like they will immediately send you anything missing or damaged from a quick email. Im sooooo satisfied with this purchase!

On the cheap side but itll do

It is what you expect. We assembled it easily and it didnt take too long. Both long safety rails for the top bunk were dented which stinks. Itll work for a few years at least.

Works great in our rental home

I am impressed with the bed . Here so many compliments about bunk beds collapsing that it was very confusing to purchase one. We use ours in vacation rental and have had no problems in 2 years. They are difficult to put sheets on .We purchased sliders for each leg this allows us to tuck both sides of the bedding.

    Human size matters.

The bigger people in my family hate this bed. They say the whole frame wobbles and the ladder bars hurt their feet. The medium to slender sized people in my family love this bed and say it is great to sleep on, comfortable, easy to use the ladder and not wobbly. The bed was not hard to put together but if you have an extra set of hands it sure wouldnt hurt. Im a 6 foot 2 inch adult and sleep on the top just fine but I also weigh about 140lbs and would not want to weigh much more or I think it might feel wobbly. The bottom full sized area feels particular stable, even if I bounce on it on purpose.

Lots of bad reviews seem like theyre not for the right product.

There were no problems with the appearance of the product, except the big ugly sticker on the top bunk. Assembly was tricky, I had a really hard time getting the railing into the sides, and had to get help. But the rest of assembly i did in about 5 hours as one person. Two of the bars that the matress goes on top of wouldnt click in all the way and they kind of just rest there now. Overall its a good sturdy product. My daughter, which she gets scolded for this, holds on to one of the bars underneath and does flips, I would think the bar would bend with 45 pounds of weight pulling on it, but it doesnt. I am 59 and i can sit up (slouching) on the bottom bunk. Just slightly too tall to sit up straight. Overall a good quality product, especially for the price. I can see it lasting quite a few years.

    Good Bunk Bed

When you need a bunk bed this is a good one. And the packaging was pretty impressive also.
