This desk came through. Holds both my monitors and keyboard with some improvisation, but its definitely worth the money. Follow the instructions and you will be fine.
As long as you follow the instructions closely, you wont have any problems. For the price of the desk, I honestly dont think you could do much better. Its not overly sturdy, but if you put it together carefully it will easily hold up a laptop or monitor and keyboard along side with some decor and clutter. It is perfect for limited space. It looks great in the corner of my bedroom. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap desk with limited space.
Assembly took a bit over an hour partly because there are many pieces to put together and I placed one in the wrong spot and had to unscrew and correct it. Otherwise it is a fairly sturdy little desk considering it is pressed fiberboard. The espresso color is nearly full black. Assembled it for my mom and she likes it.
This desk took me, as a single person (against the advice of the instruction manual, which calls for two people), about three hours to put together. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, but I am, in my head, comparing it to the bed frame I recently assembled, so maybe the fact that its comparable is a bad thing.
As for quality, it is as big as Id hoped, but I am a small person, so take that with a grain of salt. It fits my monitor, keyboard, mouse, coffee mug, and trinkets. However, it was not as solid as Id thought. The wood used for this is porous - good for screws, bad for structure. I was afraid it wouldnt support itself while I was building it, but it does I wouldnt tempt fate with anything heavy, however. It was a problem because I was using a somewhat older monitor that was on the heavy side, and eventually, I became so nervous of the creaking the I removed the monitor and placed it on the bed beside me instead. I have a lighter monitor now, but I cant imagine putting a full-size desktop computer on top of this thing.
Since I started working from home again I had to get a desk. This desk works well and for the price it is pretty good. I liked it small for the space I have. Sturdiness is a 7 out of 10.
