These pantrys are awesome. They are well made and all the parts were in the boxes. We bought 2 of these! We love them. Make sure you have two or three people working together to build these, it will make it soooo much easier. Great company to buy from. Great customer service too
There look great, great directions. All parts correctly numbered. One panel was destroyed and it took a couple of weeks to get a replacement. But there was no issues very nice young lady took good care of us. Took 3 or 4 days to get a callback from the service department
This was well packaged and having put together numerous furniture items, this quality is compared to IKEA type furniture which I think is a step above getting furniture at walmart or other similar places. It took me about 3 hours to put this together by myself, it included 2 straps for safety against the wall. Make sure you look at both sides of the wood pieces, as one side may have just a very small nail hole you will need at a later step and you could have to back track if you have this board flipped. and they dont tell you that on the fly as the step by step pictures are easy to follow and the screw bags are all labeled as to which ones you need, but both sides are they same except for a very minor hole you might not see so just watch for that. Other than that the one thing you might also want to know is that there is a chemical smell and you will want to air this out a while after putting it together, or take all pieces out of box and let them air out somewhere before hand? You will want to have a small electric screw gun to save you alot of time. I was also surprised at how thick and sturdy the top cove and bottom pieces were. For 350 bucks, this is a good deal. If you want something better, you'd pay 1,000 at a furniture store and then you would get an even higher quality. Or you could spend 129 at Target and go with that lower quality. So I would call this mid grade quality.
The size and appearance were perfect for our condo! Assembly was pretty straight forward. instructions are pictures only, which were adequate. You will need a second person to help during parts of the assembly process.
The quality is disappointing but, to be expected, at that price. I hope it holds up but, wont be surprised if problems occur after a couple of years. Wouldnt buy again however ...
Okay I will start this review with a caveat. Assembly is very labor intensive. I estimate it took me close to eight hours. And I consider myself mechanically inclined. And the instructions are pictures only and very vague. That being said, once it was completed, it is a very solid piece of furniture. I had a couple of hiccups but they were my fault for not looking closer at the (vague) instructions. It worked out beautifully but not for the faint of heart.
The color is a little too white, so that it seems artificial. However, extremely good value to give our kitchen more shelf and storage space. The doors and drawers are not very substantial or sturdy in feel, but again, can't complain considering its value. The material is compressed wood, although I don't know much about the differences to tell you what kind of compressed wood. I don't think anyone can provide real wood or even ply at this price point anyway. Looks great and I bought two!
I was really excited as my husband was putting it together. He was half done, mind you this is pretty heavy and a whole lot of parts, and as he is getting ready to put top half together we noticed a pretty good chunk was taken out and whoever tried to fix it, well they did not do a good job. It's easy to see, and they filled it with some kind of wood filler. You can see it pretty easy. Also, not sure why there a is such a big gap between cabinet doors, top and bottom.
Reason not sending back, well like I said, heavy, lots of parts, plus the box was really beat up and damaged. It would be very hard for us to return this.
Other than that sticks out like a sore thumb part, the cabinet seems really nice, sturdy and enough room for a lot of items.
