The desk EASILY adjusts up and down. Semi/Sturdy I am concerned about our 100 pound dog knocking it over, but I have no concerns about it failing to support a heavy laptop.
I was looking for something smaller than the traditional office desk for use in a makeshift work area in my bedroom. The laptop cart fits the bill perfectly. Its quite sturdy and easy to move around in a very limited workspace.
Who in their right mind would pay 65 for expert assembly of a 58 desk?
There are less than 30 screws that hold this desk together. Youll need to provide your own phillips head screwdriver. The manufacturer included a wrench and an allen head wrench for assembly. It took me just about 30 minutes to put it all together once I had it out of the box.
The rollers on the drawer could be a little smoother. Its almost as if the holes for the framework are 1/16 too close to center which results in pressure on the drawer. It still opens and closes, but it doesnt glide. Wheels roll very nicely. Bought it for my computer setups. Tower goes on the bottom shelf laying on its side. Laptop goes on the middle shelf when not in use. Keyboard, mouse, and small monitor up on the top. Works great.
I have such a small space in my apartment for a desk to hold my monitor to work from home that this was practically the only desk with the dimensions that would fit the space. It was really easy to assemble/directions were straightforward and simple. The desk easily holds my 34 monitor and the drawer holds surprisingly quite a bit of supplies. It feels very sturdy and the middle shelf holds even more supplies / could easily hold a small printer.
Arrived promptly. Good assembly instructions and all parts went together easily. Wish it would adjust down a little lower, but it will be pretty easy to adjust for a good, usable work space. Seems to be a good product for the price.
