This replacement is so much more comfortable than the one that came with the sofa. I had to replace my original one because my daughter threw up all over it. Im almost glad she did because this new one is so much better.
So far, the has met my expectations and more! It arrived rolled up and vacuum sealed in a box. It was easy to cut through the shrink wrap to lay it flat. As soon as I cut through the seal it began to decompress. The pictures show how it is the exact same size as the lumpy spring that came with the sofa bed (queen), and the thickness is about the same or thicker. I have yet to sleep on it, but it feels very comfortable as I lay on it to write this review. I was expecting some odor based on other reviews, but there is none at all. The bed folds back easily without causing any problems.
I do not feel the cross bars much, and almost not at all if I place a flattened cardboard box underneath the . Overall, a great purchase.

7 inch too small for our sofa bed.
