Don t like the color but this has been awesome. I love that my husband could sit on it next to me while I fed the or read to her, etc. Now that my my first is older and we have another , I love that she can sit next to me when we read a book while the is on my lap. I knew I wanted a double wide and it has proven to be awesome. I do think having a small pillow for back support is a good Idea! And a neck pillow for middle of the night feedings!
I got so many compliments on this chair after a birthday party at my house. I sent one of the dads into my study to rock his and the mom had to know where I got it. It was super easy to put together. I have five kids and they ve put it thought a lot within the first few months, a friend s kids, even took my watercolor pens to it and I managed to get that all out with a scrub brush, Lysol with hydrogen peroxide, and for anything tougher than that I use pet strength carpet cleaner...and it all comes out...perfect size to fit me and few of my little ones in to read, durable for certain, and a hit with guests. It s made for nurseries, but I keep it in my study, to have something comfy for us all to read in.
I really do like the look of this chair I like that it is big since I have 2 toddlers and this will be for my 3rd so we can all fit on it perfectly. Our chair is on carpet. It is easy to move which is nice since I do have swivel glider rockers in the other 2 rooms and they are very heavy. However, even though it is nice to be able to move the chair around it slides very easily even if you dont want it to (toddlers jumping on it etc.) If you do end up buying this chair, I would suggest buying it from . They have a bundle deal which includes the storage ottoman and with the deal its pretty much the same price as the ONE chair on for the 2 pieces on . The chair was fairly easy to put together, I did it alone. One of the holes didn t line up 100% so husband will gave to fix that. The thing that I do hate about this chair is the rocking ability. It doesn t rock well at all. If you have to ottoman and put your feet on that you get way better rocking action so I would highly suggest buying the ottoman. The ottoman doesn t move which is what I wanted. It opens for storage and closes very slowly so it won t hurt any little fingers. I got the beige color and am happy with it overall. Will know better in a few months once arrives!
Assembly instructions are simple and straight forward. I was, however, thoroughly frustrated by the end of assembly due to crappy alignment of the predrilled holes for the bolts. Every hole had another hole overlapping like they had to re-drill all the hole and even with that a couple of the bolts were very hard to get aligned correctly. Once assembled the chair is very sturdy even with myself, my almost 3 year old daughter, and my 4 year old son all in the chair. I don t know how other people will feel about the seating position but I feel like it should be reclined back a little more. I feel like my back is too far upright to be rocking a .
