Has a lot of pieces to assemble so it takes some time, but instructions are pretty good..I bought this for a spare kids room so I went for an inexpensive one, but was actually sturdier and heavier quality metal than I expected!
The bed is beautiful and looks sturdy but I wont know until I get the hardware to put it together. They are sending me the parts when they get them in, in 12 weeks. They told me have enough fo the trundle but not the daybed. Ive asked them to send me what they have so I could at least put the trundle together. I havent heard anything yet.
My husband is 74 and I am 70 years old. We tackled the project with patience and cooperation. It only took 2 1/2 hours to put the trundle together (we learned a lot on this one), and 1 hour to put the daybed together. The parts were all numbered for easy recognition. The illustrations were done very well. We followed the instructions and before we knew it the project was done. This is for our grandchildren when they visit us. It is going to be perfect. Love the white. Fits perfect in the room.
I am really impressed with the quality. The mattress supports where a little tedious. I would recommend this product for some one that is tight in space or for extra sleeping area for guests. The only issue I have with this product is the bed post caps are difficult to keep straight and I stripped one when trying to tighten and keep it straight. Im sure Im the only one that will notice but it drives me crazy!
I got the Queen frame with the Full trundle. We put it in our playroom so that our playroom can function as a guest room in addition to a playroom. Our bed faces a TV, so it's extremely cozy for lounging/media room purposes. In fact, I prefer to watch TV in there, on this bed, than on the couch. It's a great way for a lot of little ones to watch a movie or something too, and I envision this frame making the room a fun space for sleepovers in the future.
PROS: With this frame, I am able to have a queen guest bed plus a full trundle guest bed without sacrificing the whole room as a guest room. This was the ONLY frame I could find like this (Queen size day bed) anywhere remotely close to this price point. I love that we can pull the full trundle out entirely if we want to and put it in a separate room if we had separate families as guest - that was a huge selling point for me. If you want to be able to put lots of people up in real beds without sacrificing space in your home all the time, this frame is a GREAT option.
Things to know: A queen day bed is arguably a little big/some might find it a little awkward as opposed to the usual twin. I worried about this before purchasing, but went for it anyway as we had a queen mattress for guests already. We stack a ton of pillows along the back/wall to fill it in and make it look fuller/less random during regular/non-bed use, and I think that does the trick.
It is a bit of a pain to assemble, but doable as 1 small female without help. Instructions are easy to follow, it's just a lot of pieces and tedious. At the price point, some work for assembly is fair.
Our bed squeaks a little, but we haven't bothered trying the remedies/fixes suggested on here (it hasn't bothered us enough to push us to fix it, honestly). as a secondary bed, it really doesn't concern or bother me much. From reading other reviews, it's probably fixable.
In sum, this was a great find for the price point. I'm very happy with the flexibility it offers us.
The bed feels sturdy and it's not squeaky. It also looks nice from afar. But it's cheap looking from close-up. The knobs and decorative knots and the top connecting bars on both ends have very obvious gaps where they connect to other pieces. The pieces are not finished properly. I stayed away from cheaper frames for this reason. I guess I could have spent another $100 for a better finished product. The delivery and assembly is worth the money.
This bed is awesome! Yes, it was time consuming to put together but it wasnt difficult. I couldnt be happier with how nice it is, especially given how much (or really how little) I paid for it!
I feel like I'm a pretty strong 56 year old woman, but the box for the full bed/twin trundle was 75 pounds so I just opened it in the garage. It took me 8 trips to bring all of the pieces up the stairs to the room on my 2nd story. I put the bed together in about an hour and a half by myself. It's straight forward if you follow the instructions. As the instructions say, do NOT tighten everything until you get it all put together. It needs just a little wiggle room to fit everything together. But I tightened it all up at the end and am very happy with the finished product. One of the main spokes did come damaged but it's on the back side. I have bought iron beds before and this one was a little pricier than I've spent in the past. I would also say that the "whiteis not as white as pictured on the picture. It is definitely more of a creamy white or almost beige. It doesn't go with the other stark white furniture I have in the room, but oh well.
The balls on the posts broke off completely within the first couple months. My son is a bigger kid, and the support rails offered no support. They just bent inward. The casters on the trundle also bent after multiple uses. It was a bed when we needed one, but don't recommend it for being long term use.

Better quality than I expected for the price

Sturdy and cute
We bought this for our guest room/office. It looks nice and is able to hold an adult comfortably
Cant give an honest review because the bed didnt come with any hardware to put it together.

Way easier to assemble than I ever thought

Exceptional for what you pay for it!

Easy assembly just takes a while
