This bed is great! It took two hours to put together. A second person was needed to hold some pieces in place while I tightened. I used an electric drill with hex bit and torque setting so I couldnt over tighten. It would have taken a lot longer to put together and my fingers would have been worn out from all the turning without it.
It has a water based finish so smells nice. All the holes lined up perfectly and all hardware plus extra screws and pegs were included.I would buy this again and would recommend to family and friends.
Perfect in every way but one. We bought in white and the paint used or the actual is so soft. The smallest thing causes a dent or scratches. Its been just a couple days and theres issues already.
This bunk bed is so great. It was easier to assemble than I had expected. I was looking at getting a Pottery Barn bunk bed, but chose this one because of the price, reviews, and also because we were able to choose what side we wanted for the ladder (cant even begin to understand how Land of Nod/Crate Kids, PB, RH dont allow for some bunk ladders to be switched to opposite side!).
This bed is perfect for my 2 and 7 year old! We had my 2 year olds twin bed on the floor so I was looking for this type of sleeping option, low loft with space for another bed underneath. Ive only seen low lofts with storage space underneath, but thanks to Im very pleased. I thought it was going to be pretty low, but its a really good size without being too high up close to the ceiling. Easier to make the bed at this height too, and its so much nicer than just having a twin bed on the floor. There is also plenty of clearance so that my 2 year old can sit up without hitting the top. I love that we can remove the ladder when needed so the younger one cant climb up and the older one can jump down without it. The quality is amazing. Money well spent!
I really like this product. My boyfriend and I put this together in under an hour and my boys loved it! Im five foot and I stand at least 4 inches taller so very close to the ground for those worried about their little ones falling a long distance from the top bunk. I did have to wait the full delivery estimated time. So about 2 weeks. Im happy with the quality of and how sturdy it is.
This bed is perfect for my 4 and 2 year old boys. Its not so high that I worry about my 4 year old on the top and my youngest is close enough to the floor that I dont worry about him getting hurt when he will inevitably fall out since he just moved from a crib. The bed was pretty easy to assemble and took me 2 hrs putting the bed together by myself (would have been faster if I had help). After reading reviews I set out all the pieces and read through the entire directions before assembling. That probably helped.
Really unprofessional. Instructions are not clear and wrong (multiple parts have the number of pieces in the instructions wrong; no parts were missing though).
I was able to figure things out eventually, but now Im stuck since one of the important pieces doesnt match (and I just started). The holes are not drilled correctly so either I try to fix it myself or send it back (the thing is really heavy with so many parts so its going to be difficult and expensive to return). If you still gonna buy it here I suggest you pay the extra professional assembly service.
May 12, 2018 Update:
I changed my review from one to three stars. I finished putting the bed together. The bed is nice and feels sturdy.
With the right tools and forcing some of the screws in, I managed to overcome all the assembly issues.
One tip: The first step is assembling the sides of the bed. All the parts look the same but two of them have 4 tiny holes in the middle that will be used later to hold the metal bar in the middle of the top bunk. You should make sure those two parts are at the top on both sides. I figured it out when it was too late and ended up making new holes on one side.

Sturdy well crafted
Though it is a lengthy build process, the quality of materials and over-design make it indestructible for even the wildest children

Not do it yourself assembly like furniture
