This is my 4th file cabinet of this model.
Pros: a) It has a separate drawer for small items to be stored on the top of the two file drawers, b) the high walls on the inside of the file drawers as you can either hang files or store some items, c) there are no handles sticking out on front of the file cabinet, d) it came with casters.
Cons: a) A very thing gauge of metal seemed to have been used on this model. So, dont pack up this file cabinet with heavy files and dont store heavy things in it, b) As with all file cabinets, but I think a tad more with this one, be mindful of the edges inside the cabinet when you handle your file folders.
Overall: Good but not the best, but it serves my purposes.
A word regarding the shipping/shipment: The announcement stated that the item was delivered at the Front Porch. Not so. It got delivered to our garage door, was placed up/side/down some time during the day and sat there all through the night until we realized that it was there. My nearly 63/year old husband had to haul it from there into the house and turn it right/side/up. The carton was clearly marked with the correct direction for the product but still had been placed up/side/down by the delivery service. A good thing that the file cabinet and the carton it came in were light and that it didnt rain, and a good thing that we didnt detect any dents. So, happy with the product, just not happy with the delivery service.
I read some of the reviews when I was thinking about buying one and they were half good and half bad. I took a leap of faith and ordered one and it is just fine for me. Its not the sturdiest thing ever built, and it was definitely a little challenging to assemblebut all in all its exactly what I was looking for and didnt have to spend a bundle on it. I personally recommend.
