The cabinet is under 100; you arent going to get military grade steel for that price. Its a little thin, but it should work in our normal home office environment. The only assembly required is the wheels. Front ones simply attach using two screws each. The rear wheels require an additional mounting plate. To make the process simple screw the wheel to the plate very lightly first. Then slide that assembly onto the the file cabinet and tighten all the way. SIMPLE.

The top and middle drawer locks, not the third drawer. If possible replace lock with something more sturdy.
Good filing cabinet. Drawer is so handy for filing needs like more files, labels, a pen etc. Lock is great too. Dont necessarily like a metal cabinet but the price was right and the drawer is a plus for me. No hunting for the extra needed stuff for filing. Arrived on time and in good condition.

I had an old 4 drawer metal filing cabinet and wanted a smaller one. This is no where near the sturdiness of the old one. It is very light and made of thin metal. If you are looking to store a lot of heavy files I would not recommend this product. I have files with receipts and light items in mine and it does the job. I like the drawer at the top to store my printer paper in and its a good height with my desk to house my printer on. I like that it has casters. Once again only recommend for light storage. I wouldnt over load it or the drawers may break.
