We needed a lockable file cabinet after a move to a new home and retirement. Our documentation storage needs had changed and before we put too much money into a file cabinet unit, we wanted to try this out. The wheels are quick to install and are very helpful when moving the cabinet to another part of the office. The unit is sturdy and I like the locking feature. The third drawer is a bonus which I had not looked for but immediately liked when I saw it. This is a good purchase.
I received the file cabinet and everything works well. But Im very disappointed in the delivery because the right back corner of the file cabinet was crushed in on the part that stated this end up^
Arrived quickly. Easy to mount the wheels. Its relatively light/duty metal, but itll do the job.
A star off for non/locking wheels. I have it on a hardwood floor, and opening or closing a drawer means you need a second hand to hold the cabinet in place, or plan on chasing it around the office. Looks to be a standard bolt pattern, so I may look at swapping in decent rubber locking wheels at some point.
Note, I caught it on sale for 140, and at that price its quite adequate. But at the normal price of 240, its definitely not worth it. So another star off for value (or lack thereof). Recommend not buying unless you can get it under 150.
Front wheels attached easily. Rear wheels The enclosed screws were too small for the bottom half bracket of the rear wheels. When I bought the fitting screws I had to drill out the holes in the casters. (Screws go THROUGH the casters and into the BOTTOM BRACKET.)
I would still buy another of these and recommend it to others.
Nothing to install. Came ready, right out of the box. 2 full size drawers for folders that fit pendaflex folders easily. Top drawer is bonus for any supplies.

Love this cabinet! For the minimal price it is perfect for my office to keep my everyday files close and easy to find. Looks nice. Some people complained about no key included but mine was loose in the box. I am sure that many people did not see it and threw it away when recycling the carton.

I like the short top drawer, just right for checkbook and pens. Really nice cabinet.
