    Perfect Glider

The easiest chair to assemble. I was prepared to spend an hour between the ottoman and chair and it took me maybe 10 minutes. Amazing quality. Glides like butter. Definitely recommend getting the ottoman. I almost didnt but so glad that I did. I am tall (5 8) and sitting all the way back my head is over the back BUT if you have the ottoman you can scoot your behind towards the front of the chair and sprawl your legs out on the ottoman and lay your head on the back. Very comfortable. The ottoman glides as well. Very extremely happy with this purchase. I bought the charcoal color on Target but its the same chair as pictured, just different color.

    Easy to assemble

This chair was very easy to assemble. All you really have to do is attach the chairs back to the seat base and you are good to go. The color is lovely and neutral enough to go with several different color schemes (which is nice if you plan on utilizing it in another room after its no longer needed in a nursery). I found the glider to be comfortable. Im 53 and so sometimes chairs dont fit me well, but I felt that this was a very comfortable height. The material is soft and the tufted back really adds a lot to the style. It glides smoothly and the arms are a great shape in height for feeding babies as well. All in all, I was pleased with the quality and appearance of this chair.

    lightweight and easy rocking chair

I needed a rocking chair for the second kid. My first was a raggedity hand me down. But I wanted something that I could use after nursing the baby and this was perfect. It glides well, its comfortable and deep which for nursing is going to be perfect. It was easy to put together and is already standing up to toddler abuse from my eldest. Ive started rocking in it and it feels good.

    Its perfect for me

Its perfect for me. Im short (52) and have a hard time finding a chair that my feet comfortably reach the floor. Very happy with the size and quality. It was also easy to put together.

This glider is the best we have used

This glider is the best we have used. So many nights it has saved us with its soft gliding for our baby. It doesnt take too much effort to glide it back and forth, and it is sooo comfortable to sleep in while we have been sitting up rocking our baby. We love how it has a simple and stylish design and most of all LOVE that we have made some messes on it already a few times and it wipes clean with no mess in sight! It is so easy to clean and the fabric is very comfortable. From one mommy to another, I highly recommend!!

Cant rest your head, feet cant reach the ground. Otherwise a good chair. It will get used.

This is a hybrid club-chair-rocker. Im a little confused by it. First, it wasnt intuitive to assemble--we had to disassemble it halfway through and start over again. Also, allen wrenches were designed so that you can use the long end or the short end to access screws in various hard-to-reach positions, but this came with an allen wrench that had the short end blunted and rounded, which made screwing in certain hard-to-reach places with only the long end difficult. The chair itself looks cool. Its bulky and sturdy and wide enough and seems durable; if you have room for a club chair, you need a little more room for this because it rocks and you dont want to be hitting the wall. The fabric is nice. The chair slips around on carpet, sliding closer to the wall behind it. Might be better on hard floor. The weird thing is the size. The back isnt high enough to lean your head back and rest your neck. Think about it--a rocking chair (like a recliner) is for relaxing: if you want to sit in a rocker, you probably want to rest your head back while knitting, nursing, or watching a movie. Rockers arent for socializing or eating or desk work (when youd want your head up like meerkat as the club chair offers). So I immediately thought of my mother-in-law, who at 51 might be able to lean her head back, and wondered if she might enjoy holding my baby in the chair; but then comes the height of the leg portion. While the thigh-distance (depth) isnt remarkable, the seat is high off the ground. My MILs legs would be swinging above the floor. In a rocker, you need your feet to push. Also it can be simply uncomfortable to have your legs hanging. I happen to own a nursing stool which will work very well, but without it rocking the chair would be difficult, even for medium-height people. I wonder if a company made too my club chairs that had some flaw in the legs, and they had extra rockers, and hacked the two together in a pinch. Overall, Id give this chair a C+. Not everything was meant to be hybridized. The rocking chair is a tried-and-true concept, and if there was room to improve upon its basic design, I believe those improvements have been made decades ago.

    Well-designed, comfortable rocker

This is a remarkably sturdy chair! It was delivered in pristine condition, despite the usual rough handling of UPS. This was due to the way the manufacturer carefully padded all of the parts and packed it into the box. The chair came in two sections: the base and the back. It required two of us to line up the holes to fasten the back to the base, but the bolts went right in and held it securely in place. This rocker is perfectly suited for soothing fussy babies. The chair is not soft and squishy like other rockers Ive tried. Therefore, you are not likely to fall asleep while rocking your baby late at night or in the wee hours of the morning. Neither is it hard and uncomfortable, like a wooden rocker, that can make your weary bones ache after a while. The distance between the back and the front is not so great that you have to slouch for your knees to fold over the seat; nor is it hard to lower and raise yourself into. This is very important when you are holding an infant--particularly if you have short legs. The rocker glides very smoothly, too, which means Baby will fall asleep quickly. It is compact and doesnt take a lot of space in a small room. The dove gray may be a little light for most nurseries. I am afraid its going to stain awfully easily--both from baby spit up or diaper leaks and Mom or Dads body oils. Therefore I recommend using towels to cover the arms of the chair. I noticed that the welt is a different color from the rest of the chair, too. Maybe a darker color would be more practical.

    Rock on to dreamland

This chair has many things going for it. First, it is sturdy and sits comfortably. It is well padded in all areas. The cushion Velcros to the base so it will not crawl about. The microfiber will clean easily with a damp cloth and the mildest of cleaner. The rockers have stops to keep the chair from tipping too far in either direction. The chair does not slide about as one gets in or out with a baby or not. It accommodates a large person and a baby or pet. It is also designed so any length of leg can reach the floor. One does not need a hassock to enjoy the chair. The only mildly odd aspect is that when not being sat in, it looks like it tilts back a bit much. However that does not affect using the chair at all, and it works safely and, I repeat, comfortably on wood floor or carpet. Definitely a five star item.

Great Swivel/Glider Easy Chair for the Nursery -- Or Any Room

This is a really well made Glider/Swivel/Rocking chair! It is advertised as a nursery chair for mom (or dad) to use while theyre feeding or just holding baby in the nursery -- but let us let you in on a secret. This is a quality piece of furniture that would be both beautiful and functional in any room! The chair comes in a large carton, in two pieces. The back comes separate from the seat section (complete with its swivel/glider base -- it is heavy). Its easy to put together in a matter of seconds. The top has metal prongs that fit into their counterparts between the chair arms. You tip the chair up and insert two long screws (and washers) that hold the chair together. Its easy to do. Recommended.
