Being 511 and my husband being 63 this chair is great quality. We purchased the rocking foot rest as well and love it. Our shoulders do sit high or right at the back of the chair, something to consider. For the cost we cant complain. Weve had it for well over a year and its just like brand new. It does seem to be stain resistant, we still dont have a mark on it. We purchased this and the foot piece open box for a better steal. Its an excellent glider and rocker. I would buy again. I do wish it reclined but would expect to pay more for that. It isnt your bye bye baby chair that costs $700+ but a close second considering price.
I really like this chair. Its not to much trouble to assemble you just have to pay attention to the rocker arms not to put on backwards. The chair leans back a little while you are not sitting in it but when you sit down it sits real nice and upright. It comfortable and I am 100% satisfied.
LOVE this rocking chair! Packed extremely well and its solid beautiful wood that isnt easy to scratch. Only one small defect: one of the screws punctured through the other side exposing tip. Whenever I loosened the screw it wasnt flush with the outer surface anymore. Unfortunately its in a visible spot, but its not the end of the world!
Easy to assemble. I am 58 and it is a bit short, I cant even use a short footstool with it. The fabric and color are nice. The width of the seat and height of the back are perfect.
Scoops backwards when you rock and tips quite far back, so be prepared. Its a good chair, sturdy and comfortable but not too comfortable that Im going to fall asleep while breastfeeding.
Super comfortable! We got this chair to rock my grandson and it was very comfortable! You may need two people to get the material around the frame but overall pretty easy to get together . Very light weight.
I researched the heck out of nursing chairs and made a spreadsheet for all the details. I considered dimensions, user reviews, materials used, type, etc etc.... In the end I chose the Emerson chair with matching ottoman and got them as a baby shower gift. I am so happy with this chair. A lot of older negative reviews mentioned an installation defect (the wrong assembly parts were shipped). It seems like they fixed this before Feb 2019 when I ordered the chair. Its a heavy chair and comes in 2-3 pieces in one giant box. My hubby assembled it; it wasnt easy as pie but wasnt horrible either. I started using it after baby was born in May 2019 and spent hours upon hours a day in it. Nursing, rocking, story time. The chair is very comfortable and provides great back support. I am 52 and 150 lbs and havent had any issues with wear-and-tear or creaks. Its the right height and depth for me. A boppy fits if you tilt it a bit (which feels better on my back anyway). And now that the baby is too tall for the boppy I cradle his head on a chair arm and its still quite comfortable. It rocks silently and is still beautiful in his room a year later. I recommend covering the seat with a blanket (for postpartum grossness) and keeping arms covered with burp cloths (for vomit). Ive been doing this and the chair still looks brand new. Def a good buy and a good value.

Great chair and great price
Great rocking chair. Very well made and wide enough to put Bobpy on the side and feed our little one. Great value and very easy to assemble.
