    Great for rocking babies

We used it to rock babies in our daycare. It has a large seat for many different sized people. It sits very comfortable and rocks very smoothly.

    Huge base. Easy to assemble

Easy to assemble. I got it for my oldest daughters room which is not too big so the base of the chair seems huge to me. It rocks back pretty far and seems a bit dangerous.

    Sits up too straight/forward

This chair is beautiful. The fabric is nice too. The back is a good height (Im 53 but i can easily rest my head on the back). What I absolutely hate is how it sits forward. Even if u try really hard to relax back in it, you cant. I think Ill need to buy an ottoman - not sure if thatll help though. Its ok for breastfeeding because of it sitting so straight, and the back is very supportive. But, if you were to use it to rock your baby, you could do only that, rock. You couldnt ever fall asleep in this chair. With my son we had an old crappy chair wed sit in that was a small rocker/recliner. Many times, Id fall asleep holding him in that chair. That couldnt happen in this chair. Bummer. If I could, Id definitely return it and get a different chair.

    Its ok. Just ok.

Its ok. Just ok. Its not horrible, but certainly not as good as the reviews Id read. It looks nice and seems solid. My huge complaint is that it is not a recliner. I realize this is my fault for not carefully reading the description, but I was searching for recliners and this came up so, stupidly, I assumed this was also a recliner. I am so disappointed, but too tired to send it back. I realize I should have noticed it was not a recliner while assembling the chair, but Im old and was concentrating on not injuring myself. I didnt wise up until I sat in it and found my sad error. I am soooo sad. But, at least I have a swivel chair to use in semi comfort until I get a real recliner. Always carefully read all descriptions and product information before purchasing. This was an expensive lesson for me.

You NEED this chair, its perfect for breastfeeding and rocking baby to sleep

I was debating whether I really needed a rocking chair in the nursery, boy Im glad I purchased this one (After looking through several and reading lots of reviews). The back is so soft and comfy, the part you sit on is firm and supportive but not in an uncomfortable way, and the arm rests are my favorite because they are perfect height for resting your arms and boppy when breastfeeding. I ended up having a C section so recovery was rough for the first several weeks, but getting in and out of this chair was no problem. My husband put it together in about 30 mins. 100% recommend this chair!

Worth the money, pay for what you get.

Theres pros and cons to this chair. As many mentioned before, the quality of the craftsmanship is lacking. One side is flatter than the other, leading to uneven rocking, and one of the arms is cracked from the front dowel to about halfway up the arm. The crack does not hinder the performance of the chair, but I used some wood glue to sew it up to avoid splinters and further cracking. Other than these issues and them being a little creaky, the chairs are great. The cushion could be thicker but its comfortable enough and the look is fabulous in teak and white. For the price, I feel like I got my moneys worth. Im sure the quality issues would be solved at a higher price point but these chairs work well for a more budget friendly option with high value looks.
