This bed is very sturdy and heavy. I elected to get a frame instead of wood thinking it would be lighter lol. Pleasantly surprised when i couldnt move the box with all the parts.
I started constructing it upside down since i put it together by myself, with my 10 year old helping from time to time. It would be beneficial if the part labels on the post didnt get covered by the guardrails. All of the guardrails have different lables, which are important to know once you start the constructing the and shelves. Needless to say, i had to switch them around after the fact. But luckily it wasnt too inconvenient.
In general; the bed is sturdy, and looks nice.
edit
My son says it hurts his feet to climb up and down the latter. I will look for something more comfortable for him.
Very easy to assemble. I wish there was an opening at the top so that my 8 yr old wouldnt have to climb over the top to get into bed that causes her to be close to the ceiling. Also bars on the ladder hurt her little feet. I cut a pool noodle to wrap around problem solved. The box was huge came super fast
This bed came with holes drilled incorrectly for one of the posts, and one tongue for a cross brace damaged. The hardware is typical low quality Chinese soft, but using a clutched drill with good bits makes stripping bolts a non issue. The instructions are just pictures and many parts are not labeled, but it isnt difficult to figure out. We were scratching our heads for a bit until we were certain there was no possible way for the post to work without drilling holes for the dowels and cam lock bolts. Due to the cam lock bolts, I do not have the desire to make it work by drilling my own holes. I just ordered another one an plan to either get the post I need out of that one or just use that one and return the other. Either way one or both will be getting returned. Reading reviews of this model on other websites through a google search, improperly made parts happen, in fact several indicated the exact issue this one has. My son will be camping out in his sisters room for a bit as the new wont be here for 5 days. A bit frustrating. I will update this review if the new bed is not defective. We have reached out to the company as well without much luck so far, just a lot of run around.
Update: I received the new bed and the parts were manufactured correctly, so at least they are not all like that. The bed is seemingly decent quality, the wood is very soft so expect some imperfections as the result of shipping. I am not too concerned with scratches small dents etc since I am sure my son will likely scratch it up through use. The bed is not as solid as my daughters loft, but it isnt dangerously wobbly either. I may add L brackets to attach to the wall to keep it from wobbling. He likes it and it does add a good amount of floor space. I was concerned with the height as its a little taller than my daughters loft, but with 8 ceilings and a 6 mattress there is enough clearance even with a 52 ceiling fan.
Its pretty good functionally and adds a nice feel to the room; however I dont like that I can only add the ladder to one side of the bed and the fact that assembling this by myself was a workout and a half. Its still a good frame tho.
My son loves his bed. The stairs though are a tad bit painful as they such small tubes so we had to cover them with pool noodles. Im glad I got this / value for the money was extremely good as it already has a and shelves!!
My son is 4, he loved it the first week and couldnt wait to sleep on it! But then it started feeling less and less stable and he stopped climbing up. Very wobbly, and the screws have to be retightened every month or so.
Underneath were able to have fuller use of his room with the added space of the loft. The legs are thin and unobstructive which is aesthetically great (but also probably a part of the stability issue).
There were some bumps, bruises and very slight imperfections to the one we received but i didnt have time to return it and we needed a bed in our new place asap.
If you get this one make sure you have solid wall support on at least 2 sides with no moulding at the base. We have base mouldings that prevent full wall support so were stuck with the wobbly bed for our 36lb son (weight added to emphasize that hes a slim kid and the wobbliness is not due to overuse or inappropriate use, just not the best engineering on this one).
My daughter absolutely loves this bed. Her room is small and this allows her to have more room to move about in her room. My only issue is that her computer monitor is too big for the area. So it hangs off the edge. That is not adjustable so we manage she is very careful. Other than that we love it.

Bang for your buck

Poor manufacturing and quality control.

Great bulk bed
I really like this bed, I recommend buying it.
Cant put ladder on both sides

Attractive, but WOBBLY!

Pretty nice bed
The ladder is a bit unsteady, but overall nice bed.
