What a great find! Were using this bed for our guest room and its perfect. Arrived within days of initial order.
Packaging:
2 boxes; one large flat (headboard size ) and other is long rectangular shape(heavy). Happy with packaging, all the pieces were well protected therefore none were damaged during shipping.
Assembly:
Empty all the boxes, remove plastics and get that trash out of the way(20/30min). Assemble the bed in the room you plan on having it in. Once the headboard and frame are attachedgetting it through a doorway is not going to be very easy. I highly highly recommend using power tools. An Allen wrench and bolt wrench are provided, but it will make the build time much longer. Also highly recommend a building partner. Itll go much faster and there are several points during the build youll need an extra hand so you can screw in the screws. Entire assembly took 2 hours with two people and power tools. I read the instructions and did piece placement while the hubs did the power tool work.
Follow the instructions exactly and you wont have any issues. They are accurate, have pictures and letter identification (all the pieces have letters also). And make sure youve got the time to do it all in one sitting.
It looks aming and the storage function is so cool. You would never know its there. The quality is great. Love the full metal and minimal wood.
I really love this bed! The material is just awesome and it is really sturdy. Im giving it three stars only because of its size. Once you assemble them you realize they run small. My mattress is now bigger than my bed by 3/4 inches. Initially I thought my mattress is big but then I looked up the size of a queen mattress and then measured the bed and to my disappointment the bed is small! I decided to live with it as I was too ly to disassemble and repack and return it! Also its really big and heavy so its not easy to return as it wont fit in your car!
I gave this product a 4/star because as i was putting together the bed (really easy to do) i noticed that the plastic pieces that hold together the spring wood boards on each end are fairly easy to bend/break. Also, you have to be careful when youre putting together the , its too easy to put them together backwards. I ended up having to re/assemble 3 of the 4 over again. Other than that the overall product is great, the quality is great and i would recommend purchasing the product.
The bed looks just like the pictures. It is white and tuffed styled however it didnt come with all the pieces we needed to put the bed together. We were missing over half the screws. Otherwise, it would have been given a better rating.
Bought this for my 9yr old daughter. Im happy with the results, strong bed frame but definitely not for jumping on. Im very handy, it took over 2 hours to put together, instructions are a little bit vague but I kept looking at the pictures and followed the letters marked on the pieces and compared them to the photos. You MUST decide which side the will go on, bf you assembly, you can change your mind but its more work to change. This in not cheaply made, but its not for adults. You dont use a box spring, mattress sits on the wood slats (fairly strong).
This bed is to cute but you must purchase additional stronger slacks (wood) if not the ones that come with it will break and yourself or your guests might feel a little embarrassed. Not sure what my guests were doing but when I returned to the room the bed always appeared to be falling apart until I replaced them.
Looks ok in the room and actually works. Wasnt too easy to put together and at first we thought the mechanism is not working / but as soon as we built the whole thing the mechanism worked too! Just dont put too thick of a mattress, headboard Is low. 11/12 inch works fine.
