This coffee table has a problem with mechanism that doesnt open correctly. Once the top is lift up one end will higher than the other which makes it look tilted and anything you put on top of it will slide away. It doesnt serve its purpose as it showing on the stock photos. After it is all assembled and completed youll have most of the screws showing making it look cheap and tacky and poor taste. Plus it is too small. Dont waste your money on it. Its not worth the hassle of putting together.
I loved how fast the table arrived! It looked great and we couldnt wait to build it. Little did we know we were missing a piece and the screws to go with it. We were so excited and now we have to send it back Ive nwver had an issue like this before until now.
the grade E1 MDF iron top coffee table w/ hidden storage compartment shelf espresso is by far the cheapest thing I have gotten from . I hate it.its never worked right form the start.

I liked the coffee table, it came as described. Only 2 small issues. I hate when companies stick big and very hard to remove stickers directly on the showing side of furniture. Also 4 wood stickers to cover up the screw holes on the outside would have been nice. Otherwise, I really am enjoying this coffee table so far.
I bought this for a coffee table in my living room. It gets two stars because the look of it isnt bad. However its made SUPER cheap and the pre drilled holes dont even line up. I have to force the top down because the holes thag were drilled for the lift arm were about an 1/8 off. Also it didnt have all the parts when it arrived. So you can see all the hardware on the outside (Im assuming its supposed to come with stickers or little wood circles to cover these. Honestly, it was too cheap to go through the hassle of returning it/ but I would look elsewhere before you buy

I know because Ive had one before that was much better in quality and price. For the flimsy particle board product that this coffee table is, with spotty directions and confusing excess hardware in the package, its not worth the premium price that is being asked for on . While closed and sitting as a standalone coffee table it looks fine. However, as other reviewers have pointed out the opening and closing functions are quite harsh due to the spring loaded contraptions inside. This makes it impossible for smooth operation with a single hand. If you can successdully close the coffee table without having to hold it in place from sliding around then youre a miracle worker.
