Used this piece in a living of a condo. There is no room for a kitchen table just barstools so this was a great addition since the adjustable top serves as a great TV tray. Perfect considering the price.
Reading the reviews I wasnt expecting much but Im very surprised how firm this coffee table is. Theres no dents or marks and it came with everything. I put together in about 1h.
My first issue is the quality of the wood. Its cheap particle board covered in a very very thin veneer. One misplaced condensated cup and I have an everlasting ring. The board on the bottom of the storage space is much too flimsy, even with the support bar underneath. The lid however is not smooth at all. You have to lift up from both edges with a firm grip and I often find myself lifting the entire table or trying to prevent the table from sliding away. Even the cam/locks were incredibly cheap. Thankfully I had extra because the first two I tried screwing in snapped off below the neck. Ill be purchasing a better table from another vendor and using this somewhere with much less chance of usage simply because I am too annoyed with it to take it apart and send it back.
Bought this for my living room, and Ive been trying to put it together for a few days now because I keep getting frustrated and having to take a break. The directions are incredibly vague and even if they werent, there isnt holes where all the screws are supposed to go. I cant get the springs on the lift mechanism. Im incredibly frustrated, but Im putting it together if it kills me.

Assembly was a bit tough, but is well worth it. Great table and I love the added storage!
