Im giving this bed four stars because it was very simple to put everything together. It was nicely labeled and the instructions were very simple to follow.
The reason Im leaving four out of five stars is because some of the bars arrived dented and its a bit of an eyesore, but doesnt take away from the functionality of it. Our five year old son loves it and we have no other issues with it. I would highly recommend this loft to anyone in the market for one. Im enjoying it so far!
The bed is sturdy. My daughter has a lot of room underneath to fit a desk to sit and do homework or draw. My daughter is 11 years old and is about 4 10 and she cannot sit up in the bed without hitting her head on the ceiling. We purchased a thinner mattress, but it still is too high. She loves the bed, but I wonder how long it will be before she tires of not being able to sit up! My daughter and every one of her friends who goes up the ladder say that it climbing up really hurts their feet. We are planning on putting some cushioning on the steps to solve that problem. Bottom line, she loves it, but we might be taking it down in a year or two because of the height of the bed. I was actually pretty disappointed.
Seemed sturdy until I tried to use it, extremely shaky, I dont trust it, and the ladder is actually painful to use, id have returned it Im stupid and waited to long to put it together, plus I dont even know if I could return it anyway as the box was barely holding together before I opened it. such a disappointment
Reading the reveiws I was little bit concerned because I had to do by self with my kids of 9 and 12 years old, but definitely was easier that we thought, I bought 2, the first one took us more time, but the second one was very easy, no missed pieces, to be honest usually I buy so many things to assemble and believe me if you do often this project will be so easy, Im very satisfied, was a really good investment, the shipping was very quick, was a very nice project with my kiddos, they are so excited also we bought another couple things that make looks the room super cool Exactly what I was looking for.
We love the height of this loft, but it is a little wobbly and speaks every time she moves. It gets the job done cheap, but you get what you pay for with this one. Its a nice design though.
My daughter absolutely loves her bed! It sturdy and for the price you cannot beat it. The ladder is not the greatest but it will do Nice style and color
What I liked the most is that the instructions were easy to read. My 13 year old daughter, 7 year old son and I had fun putting it together. It was really easy. I really dont want to mention but it was missing 2 screws which we had to go to Home Depot to replace other then that I wouldnt have a complaint. Meets Expectations
So far, so good with this bed. I expected to need to bolt it to the wall for security and creaking, but its solid! No creaking, no shifting. Very stable. I expect to have to tighten periodically, but will update this review if anything unexpected comes up. Assembly was 1 hour, once everything was unpacked. All the pieces were there, but we verified that before beginning and inspected them for damage or irregularities. Wouldnt want to have to disassemble the whole bed if we needed to send it back! DO leave everything loose as stated in instructions. Rattledy shifty loose, not just not tightened because you might need the play to line up some holes.
We got this bed for my grandson to sleep in when he comes over and he loves it. IT IS HIGH! Measure your space! The space under the bed is generous and what we needed.
The ladder rungs are painful, but we added gray pipe insulation and it looks and feels perfect now.
I appreciate that this bed has nothing that sticks out from the frame assembly. It is SNUG against the walls. It is a booger to make, but what bunk bed isnt! Expect a workout if you have it against walls, although it isnt too heavy to move out if you have the room to shift it around. I dont. And at 52 I definitely needed a stool and to get right up on top.
The railings are a safe height even with the 8 inch memory foam mattress in a box that we purchased for it.
You never know about something until its in your presence, but I am pleased with this purchase and dont know why anyone wouldnt be. Hope this is helpful to someone.
Oh, and the company I purchased from on has contacted me a few times with offers of assistance, assurance that they want me to be 100 satisfied with service and product. Very helpful. Not hard to reach at all.
Photos show the alcove bed fits snuggly into and the 3/4 inch pipe insulation on rungs. Looks so good!

Very easy to put together
Very easy to put together! My son and I put this together and took us an hour. Very sturdy! So far Im super happy with it!

nice bed but there is constant squeaking coming from it when the child moves. Its ok but it wont last long.
