One of the bolts holding a bracket on the chair back was not tight. Appeared the bolt was stripped. Instead of returning the chair since we needed the chair for my wife (who was recently discharged from the hospital), I replaced the loose bolt with another bolt and tightened using a lock nut. should inspect these bolts before shipping. Otherwise the chair was fine. Just as pictured very happy with my purchase.
I was hoping for a good quality rocker / recliner that would be quiet at least for a couple of years. Its been my experience that after about 2 years, sometimes less, rocker recliner springs start making noises . squeaking springs, loud twangs, etc. Ive had this chair for a month and these noises are already happening. Im very disappointed . if its squeaking now / what are the noises going to be like in a year! But other than that its nice
First of all, I agonized about buying this chair online. Any chair that looked mildly attractive, was generally too short. I decided on this because it didnt look like it would swallow half the living room and seemed a bit more tailored with positive reviews. I bought this for my 61 husband. He is lean. Its comfortable enough to nap in and easily accommodates his tall frame. The assembly was incredibly easy: slide the back into place and listen for the double click. The price was extremely reasonable and Ive dressed up the light gray with a throw blanket. Highly recommend. So far meets my expectations
