This is a kind of velour stretch, so its a nice fabric. We have cats who like to scratch the couches and chairs even though they have some fantastic cat trees they should be scratching. Ive added slipcovers to the furniture to avoid more damage.
Anyways, this one was hard to put on, but once I pulled it over (it would have been better if it was about 5 inches wider), it fit well. It looks good. The little styrofoam sticks are included to keep the cushion section in place. Those work well, too.
It looks much better than I expected it would. I was really mostly concerned about protecting the sofa underneath and would have been satisfied even it it didnt look good. These look actually good. the room looks just as good as it did before. The couches I have are really nice, too/ not cheap stuff (which is why I cared about protecting them).
Anyways, Im pleased with this. One thing to note: the instructions show the tag that says BACK at being in the center of the back. It definitely was not at the center, and I had a little bit of a difficult time figuring out the center back. When youre working with a sofa/length cover, its a little unwieldy. Knowing where the center back is when youre starting/or at least knowing what is what, would have been helpful.
Still, Im pleased with it. Recommended. Comfortable and high quality!
Ive tried several chair covers to cover an armchair whose colors clash the decor in a new house. This is the best of them. However, all the covers I have tried are of a thin stretchy material with elastic on the bottom. They will never really look tailored.
On to this cover:
Its a brown like a Hersheys kiss, not a deep dark brown.
A stretchy material with thin stripes, kind of like a very low corduroy.
Fit is good on my particular chair. Read the details of size on any of these to make sure you are getting neither too big nor too small.
Has tags on back indicating its the back, which is very helpful. Finding how to put these covers on can be quite challenging.
Im giving it 5 stars because I like the color and fit, and the material isnt too thin, which I have seen in some. But thats definitely grading on the scale. This type of cover (no matter which brand) is always going to look a little makeshift. ALL GOOD!
In the first photo, it looks as if this is a solid chair cover. It wasnt until it arrived that I realized I should have looked more closely. It has stripes, and there is nothing subtle about them; they are quite pronounced.
The chair cover itself is fine. Just be aware that this is one piece. Typically, chair covers have two pieces. I just dont care for those stripes. So far meets my expectations
This is a very small love seat, has the feel of a padded bench. It came in 2 boxes, each box weighed about 35lbs each and I could fit one box comfortably in my chevy sonic hatchback. It is comfortable enough for my clients in my small office. It seats 2 people comfortably. I recommend having it against a wall, the back is not very high. It was super easy to put together. Overall, a good value. I am pleased with my purchase. Lovely for the price
