I received the umbrella in May. It was easy to assemble and it has been nice to use. However this morning I went to open it and it will no longer turn to open. Super bummer. Ive tried to find a customer service to contact but there doesnt seem to be one. I have a party this weekend and I am so bummed!! Feel like I wasted money.
Okay update!! customer service reached out and they immediately helped me! They didnt have my color in stock but found solutions. I havent received it yet. I would have given this umbrella 5 stars before the mishapbut then with customer service replacing it I am extremely grateful! Ill update my review again once I get the new one. Thank you !!!
Received 2 of the 9ft patio umbrellas and the rope came untied or broke within the crank within 3 weeks on both. Customer service responded immediately and refunded my cost in less than 24 hours.
Youll love this umbrella! Ill be ordering a second one today. The materials used are sturdy and its noticeable it will last a long time. The hand crank is super helpful and easy to turn. The assembly took less than 5 minutes. Be sure to order a base separately.
We live in a windy area and the deck is about 12 feet off the ground, so we have gone through pretty many umbrellas over the years.
This one seems a bit less sturdy than some weve had, and the small size of the top vent makes me nervous when it gets breezy. If the wind blows when its up, it gets knocked around a lot and makes creaky noises that persuade me to crank it down and tie it up right away. This is because we have lost a couple umbrellas in the past to sudden gusts of wind, and I just dont want to take chances anymore.
My teenage daughter and I love the color, and the tilt featurewe dont know how we got along without that feature all these years! Its easy to use, and allows you to angle the umbrella to provide maximum shade no matter what time of day it is.
I can see some light through it, but the darkish color seems to help block the sun pretty well overall.
The tie straps are very simple, but very quick and easy to use when a storm is approaching and you have to protect things quickly. And when they are knotted, they are easy to untie when its time to raise the umbrella.
Summer is coming to a close, but it still looks just like when it was newno fading or damage.
I would probably buy the same type again, unless I win the lottery and can afford a super heavy/duty one!
My one complaint is that in order to reach the handle to open and close the umbrella you have to reach up into it. When its closed the handle is 6 inches or so up inside of the closed umbrella. Seems like a design flaw and makes it awkward to open it. Otherwise we love the large span of shade given by the umbrella and it seems sturdy and like good quality.

If you dont have it cemented to the ground and curled up the wind picks up umbrella very easily
Very big bust must curl up during windy days as it blows away and mechanism not sturdy enough to withstand fall.

The umbrella looks good and quality appears good. It says it has a 3 year fade resistant warranty so hopefully that holds up.
