Overall fine bed, but
There is no note in the listing that the slats are too far apart to accommodate a memory foam mattress, which we already had. So here I am scrambling before Christmas to find a more appropriate base for the bed and investing more when I thought I was done. Also/ a few of the boards were cracked, and one of the posts was actually hollow so when I tightened down the main screws it caved in. Not so stable.
Its my daughters bed, so she says its completely awesome and she loves it! The space under it for a desk and bookshelf (both of which we purchased separately) is great for her and leaves a lot of space in the room that she is in. For a standard 8/foot ceiling room, there is ample room for her to climb up and get into bed without whacking her head against the ceiling. Shes 8 years old.
From my perspective, it was easy to put together and is really sturdy. The option to put the ladder on either end of the bed is great so that we could put it anywhere we want without the ladder sticking out into the middle of the room.
UPDATE:
Bringing it down 1 star, as I recommend putting extra 1x4 boards between the ones that come with the set for under the mattress. The space between them is just too wide. Even for kids, when climbing up and walking on their knees they kind of need to be careful where there is not that extra support between the boards. Its nothing major, just not enough support for growing kids who will use the bed for several years. Good.
Bed received in damaged condition. Someone in the factory / warehouse must have used those bands for a pallet of these beds. Because the box had three indentations on the side. The band cut into the front support post for the bed. The Allen wrench tool supplied stripped out after the left side of the bed was built. Boards will have cracks, our bed had 5 or 6 visible cracks.
I need to find the claims paper work so I can get a new board D I believe. Kids love it easy to put together.

Though the bed ended up not working for us, I must compliment the vendor for assisting us with a return well after their typical return time. We had built the bed and gone on vacation for four weeks. Upon return my daughter decided this was not for her and they accomodated us with shipping pick up and a refund.
Was leary about a bed vs wood. But so pleasantly surprised by this bed. Easy to put together and super sturdy on a rug. Not sure how it would be on a wood floor. But my son loves it!
Just keep in mind its high. 72 to top of the bed so I wouldnt recommend it for kids under the age of 6. perfect.
I live in a small space and was able to use the bed area above the desk for storage space to make room for an office. I bought a cardboard room divider to place around it and made a cube where I can work with more privacy I need.
Put Terri bed together in one night. First one I did alone took me about two hours secound with help took about an hour. The directions where very well written and easy to follow. Comfort.

Sturdy and Spacious
Its my daughters bed, so she says its completely awesome and she loves it!
