Just always disappointed when things arrive with paint scratches, etc. Even though this was not an expensive bed//I would just hope things would look new upon arrival. I am not suggesting they gave me a returned bed. The paint just had scratches all over. I probably would have tried to return but my husband son had already started assembling the product by the time I was aware of this. As far as the bed is overall my 10 year old son loves it//and now his sister wants one too. It freed up space for him to get a larger bed still have more floor space underneath. Now that it is assembled the scratches dont stand out at this point. I will tried to add some pics later. Great storage option.
Got this to add some space in sons room. Hubbs said it was fairly simple to assemble and I am suprised with the sturdiness of the bed. Son loves it. Go for it!
Pretty easy to assemble with two adults, only had one hole that was a little difficult. It feels solid and well made, though it does shake a bit when you climb the ladder. It doesnt bother my 13 year old. Desk material is nicer than I expected for the cost. Overall pleased with purchase and kid loves it. Enough strength.
please be sure to check all the for bends I put the structure together only to realize the front railing was bent. my wife wanted me to send back but my lower back said otherwise. the company was willing to send new rail but that would have meant removing the slats that support the mattress and breaks the retaining pins Very good.
Was a little worried about ordering this product as I am an adult that roughly weighs 180 lbs, but I needed something that would save some space. I needed some assistance putting together some of the parts ( just needed someone to hold it up for me while I put some parts together). Ive had it for about a month now and it seems pretty sturdy even when my 30 lb child climbs up with me. Is shakes a little when climbing up, but not enough to worry me in the slightest. The desk is nice and the latter doesnt hurt my feet. I purchased the 8in nod by tuft needle and cant feel the bars and its more comfortable than I thought it would be. If you are purchasing this bed for a smaller child and are worried about the railings I would recommend a mattress smaller than 8 in. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Updated review
My older son and I put this thing in no time. It was not difficult to assemble at all (just make sure to follow the directions and not tighten the bolts all the way until all pieces are in place). This bed is super sturdy and gets an A+ for Value for Money. Great for small spaces.
Our 9/year/old loves it!! Great for saving space and better than we expected for the price! Must have two people to assemble, but as a long as you follow the instructions your good. I would suggest opening the screws slowly and putting them in baggies with labels on each regarding the size before you begin. The packaging made it hard to keep up with them all. Our only issues are making the loft bed, which is going to be an ongoing challenge, and we will have to replace the ceiling fan in the room. The bed just comes to close for comfort. We somewhat expected these things, so we are quite pleased with our purchase. Love these.

My husband and I assembled this in about 2 hours with no issues. The bed is sturdy and our 10 year old is loving it. Very nice
