I was wondering whether this would be sturdy enough for the 160/pound, twenty/five year old guy who is using it, and it is. It shakes a bit when he rolls over, but thats because we didnt anchor it to the wall (we have just the bed, not the desk underneath). The metal seems sturdy enough / weve been using it a month now and nothing has bent or bowed. The bright white finish looks great. Assembled by one person. Took a few hours, but it wasnt overly challenging. Very pleased.
Surprisingly stable! Two adults can sleep here comfortably. Or not sleep/ not too creaky. Some people complained in reviews the ladder is uncomfortable. I can see that, but for me I dont mind. One thing I dont like about this bed is its too short to stand all the way up under (and Im only 53), which sucks cuz my dressers under it and I have to bend my head down a little. But I guess thats typical of loft beds. I mainly took a star off because it arrived missing one of the ladder rungs. Wasnt a problem for me since I only use one of the ladders, but still came with a piece missing.
Works great fits under our futon like it was made to be there I would have given it 5 Stars if the wheels rotated and not just moved in One Direction. Very sturdy and the slots are close together easy to build. They shipped it very quickly
After 7 months of use we are extreme disappointed. It is very unstable. It rocks. The plastic pieces that hold the bed up scratched the daylights out of the hard wood floor. So sorry we purchased it.
The product assembling is a breeze with clear instructions (and I am a non/handy person). The bed works for our setting and my daughter loves it.
The reason it is a 4/stars instead of a 5/stars rating is that the bed makes squeaked when my daughter turns (laying down) on her bed and she is 10 years old who is 55 lbs
After 12 months
Works better if you have a high ceiling room. The ladder rungs can be hard on your feet. Alternate access is preferable.
You must bolt this unit to the wall! You must periodically tighten all bolts
I find my son makes decent use of the space afforded below the bed.
IMO, especially considering the height, this frame is not quite long enough to stuff in a twin XL.
Was easy to assemble. Nice quality. The design of the railings doesnt make much sense. The person has to climb over the railing because there are no openings next to the ladders. For a child that makes it more dangerous in my opinion. Also the ladders are both on the end which makes placement difficult. I ended up not attaching one side of the railing, purchasing a swing down bed rail that covers 3/4 of the side, and purchasing a ladder to create an entrance on the side.

I would recommend this bunk beds for adults
Everything was complete, and its pretty sturdy ,would have liked some wider steps for the ladder cause the thin rods hurt your feet.
Works wonderful

Very very sturdy!
Assembly is not too hard. Definitely should have 2 people to do this. Have had this since June and it has held up very nicely.
Love love love
My son loves his new bed, I love how fashionable and space saving it is.
Access and saftey considerations
