Sturdy and fits bins underneath for storage. Just watch middle leg... I guess because Im not used to having that there I have stubbed my toe on it. It does make it sturdy though.
I have purchased many home assembly furniture items in my time. I get a kick out of the assembly - I am the person who volunteers to help friends put together their IKEA furniture. But there is one part I HATE - and that’s the cleanup of styrofoam, boxes, and plastic that comes afterward. Enter: this delivery. I have NEVER been so impressed or seen a company put so much care into the packaging and instructions for a home assembly item.
The bed arrived in one clean box. All of the styrofoam was packaged carefully in plastic (questionable for the environment, great for me not having to vacuum), and not only were the pieces clearly labeled alphabetically, but they also had numerical stickers that correlated to the assembly instructions, so you knew which two corners to connect at each step.
This was so simple to put together by myself (26 y/o woman), and cleanup was a breeze, and the attention to the detail with a “no slip grip strip” on the bed slats is an amazing extra touch to keep the mattress in place. I’ll purchase from this manufacturer again and again!
It’s relatively easy to install, though you should be careful with small hints in the instruction drawings. But my main problem was that it’s only work for mattress of certain sizes. Our mattress was too thick and didn’t fit under the head board
I’m 70 years old and put this together myself. Everything was in the box, I used a muffin tin to keep the screws in order. I went ahead and tightened all the screws as I went along. BUT, don’t tighten the screw for item “I” as you need some space to push down the slats. Once the slats were in, then I tightened. If I were younger would probably taken less time, as is, with interruptions, it took about 1 1/2.
We just put this bed together so I have no idea how well it will stand up to normal use yet, but I have to say the packaging and assembly are extremely well thought out. I would have to rate the packaging a good 6 out of 5 stars. The cardboard container arrived with some minor damage, but the product itself had no damage at all. It was well packed in styrofoam. The styrofoam pieces themselves are enclosed in plastic so there is no mess to clean up when youre done with assembly. All the hardware (screws, washers, etc) are shrink wrapped onto a cardboard square so you can see at a glance if all the pieces are there. They even supply a small ratcheted allen wrench which speeds up assembly considerably. I had only some minor problems with two of the pre-drilled holes being just slightly mis-aligned, but with a little stretching I was able to get the screws in. I may be back to add to this review after weve had the bed for awhile, but so far Im impressed.
The first bed frame we bought cost $1,000 and while it had drawers it weighed about 200 pounds, squeaked and after 2 years didn’t feel as sturdy as it used to. THIS frame is lightweight but surprisingly sturdy and feels like it will last a lifetime. Would not only buy again from the company but would also recommend to friends.

Be careful with your mattress size (thick mattresses don’t fit)
