I don’t like giving negative reviews but we had high expectations for this bed. It is a gorgeous bed frame however… It arrived cracked and it was a nightmare to seal the box back up for UPS to pickup. We had to arrange to be home for delivery and had to arrange to be home for pickup. Two days of time wasted and having to return the bed. It Looked like it would have been a gorgeous bed had it not be defective.
There is a part of the assembly of the bed where a small plastic clip has to go into a metal hole. Physics just dont work on this part and it is VERY challenging. It took three people working together to be sure each was aligned so that we could push into the holes. One of the issues we had in aligning was resolved by removing the cross bar that they popped into on one side so that we could expand it slightly and get into the holes. I highly recommend this! Once all the slats were secured we were able to add back to the bed perfectly.
I had ordered 2 of these for my daughters and due to the above before we were able to figure out our hack had smooshed several of the slats to be unusable even with readjustment. The seller was quick to respond sending replacement parts.
We really love the beds now that they are together. There is a ton of space under and it looks much more expensive than it was.
As soon as I saw an image of this bed frame, I wanted it because makes a good product (already had a all metal platform bed frame (not tall enough). AND the design and color matches my mid-century bedroom furniture.
With my mattress, it is the perfect height: when I sit on the edge my feet are flat on the floor with my thighs straight (no straining to reach the floor with my feet). Also, my sleeping experience is more comfortable than with the previous bedframe because the slats are stronger and less flexible than those previously used.
This frame was easy to assemble, but then I do considerable home repairs and have disassembled and reassembled furniture during moves from house to house. Assembly is no more complex than for most furniture bought online; it just needs to be completely assembled in the bedroom.
Packaging was impressive and substantial. All styrofoam is plastic wrapped, so zero mess.
Assembly was super quick and easy. Instructions were a breeze.
This bed is sturdy. The wood is extremely, visually appealing. It’s absolutely beautiful. A better bed frame can not be had at this price.
Assembly was very quick and straightforward but ensure you lay out the headboard correctly before attempting to attach the screws. It is much easier for 2 persons to assemble together and all hardware is provided.
I purchased an 8 inch thick latex mattress which works well with the bed and with the pillows you can see there is still enough headboard visible above that.
For the first bed it took about 30 minutes to assemble and to ensure we did everything correctly. For the second bed, it took about 10 to 15 minutes max.
There was no damage to the bed frame even though the box had minor tears/damage. It was well packaged inside with Styrofoam sheets for great cushioning and to prevent the parts from moving around.
Im so happy with this purchase and highly recommend.
I went to a furniture store for a bed this same style for $1800. This bed has the same quality and beautiful when put together. Some reviews mentioned the mattress covering up the headboard, I would advise to look at the measurements before purchasing to understand how your mattress will fit. Im so glad I saved money by going with this purchase.
It’s a beautiful bed. But some of the holes weren’t drilled correctly for assembly. We had to redrill some of them. Also two weeks in, and the middle support just broke. I will call and see if I can get replacement parts. There was no reason it should have broken.
All the parts arrived intact, there was no smell as a candle was in the packaging. It was easy to assemble and took about an hour. I love it. I wanted a mid-century style low bed and this one is it. very happy with my purchase.

Sturdy and simple!
I love this because it’s simple and the edges work as a night stand. Assembly was a bit tough but overall it was doable and took about and hour.
