we looked for chairs that would be safe for larger people, and this chair seemed to do that, rated to 300 pound weight. The problem is that they are too narrow for a large person. Other than that, they are perfect.
These are beautiful and sturdy. I had a helluva time trying to assemble them though! This is essential/ DO NOT tighten the Vertical Back Supports (part E) until you are done! When tightened, there was absolutely NO way the arms, back, and these E supports would line up to be screwed together! I was certain the parts were wrong. The screw holes were off by at least an inch! But when bolts are all relaxed, the three parts (A, C/D, and E) can flex, line up and screw together. Phew! Love this product. No issues.
Be advised that the Red is actually REDWOOD color. It is not the typical red. Returned redwood color for green.
Great assembly instructions and parts labeling. Easy to assemble in about 10 minutes. Sturdy. Heavy. Seating is more upright not laying back.
Assembly was fairly easy but some screws were difficult due to the quality of the plastic. Once assembled, they do not wobble and seem sturdy at time of purchase. Agree with other reviewers that the plastic is more similar to brittle plastic versus resin or engineered wood.
We love these by our firepit or for just a great place to get comfortable in the sun!! Even better than I expected. I had a all wood painted one for years, always having to paint it too look nice every year. I dont think Ill have to that with these!! And they look like painted wood!! Love them
Packed very well. Holes lined up. Definitely do not tighten the bolts u til complete. The Allen wrench provided was a piece of crap. Use your own if you have one. The bolt heads look kind of soft.
It took a while to assemble but turned out great! They are a little more narrow and would be uncomfortable if you were a bigger individual. Theyre comfortable and sturdy. Cant wait until we get the fire pit built so we can use them!
