Love the color. Assembly we hit a snag ir two but worked through them. Definitely easier with a drill if you have an allen wrench bit!
Its definitely on the small side though. Im 53 and 200 lbs, and fit snugly but easily.
My younger son also did well sitting in it at 510 and 220 lbs. My older son is a bigger guy, 6ft + and 280 and couldnt sit in it, just too small Easy setup and sturdy!
I ordered two of the red Adirondack chairs in red and love them. As always I researched a lot, and there were so many good reviews for these chairs and the people were right. These chairs are really nicesolid plastic not hollow and come with great stainless steel hardware. It was easy to put together just lay out all the pieces, take your time and pay close attention to the diagram and you will be done in 20 mins with each chair. Like many people suggested, I did not tighten everything until all screws and bolts were installed and semi tightened.
We already own some Poly/wood chairs which we use on the lawn and they are great, but I wanted something less expensive and why I chose chairs. I have bought cheaper chairs but they were hollow and very cheapthese are not like that and I plan to buy a couple more eventually.
Also these chairs are really comfortableI especially like the back piece which has fewer slats so fewer cracks to bother your back.
Pros/Very sturdy chairs, nice modern ish style. Cons/ They are a bit more shiny than I would have liked and appear more like plastic than wood. Also the slate color to me looks more brown than the photos and the chair is fairly narrow like others have said. Overall it will work for us but if I feel energetic one day, I might paint them a grayer color to matching my outdoor decor better. They do feel like a quality that will last forever.
I love those chairs. I was hesitant to order red, besause not every picture could accurately reflect a color, but this red is beautiful, not bright, very national, earthy tone. Assembly was a breeze, really. Chairs come preassembled and all that needs to be done to put in few screws. Power screwdriver would definitely help, but it could be done with regular one as well. All holes are predrilled and parts are clearly marked. Instructions were easy to follow even for my 12 yo. These chaired are comfortable, just a right weight not to be flimsy or too heavy. Not too bulky either and not overwhelming on a deck. It was my concern too, but no / just a right size. And the material they are made of is very natural looking as well, looks just like wood. Overall, Im very happy with this purchase. Recommended it to a few friends already.
I ordered two chairs. I didnt want to order solid wood because I was trying to avoid maintenance. But I wasnt familiar with the polystyrene frame. After I assembled the chairs, it is very sturdy and well constructed chairs. This is not a plastic chair. I want to compliment on the packaging. The components were well protected. The instructions was clear, I installed one in less than 20 minutes with a power tool. It looks very good and very comfortable. Its fairly light and expect it to be durable compared to wood. Time will tell but really like the fact Ill never have to paint them!

Better than expected

Do not tighten bolts all way when assembling
