Bed received in damaged condition. Someone in the factory / warehouse must have used those metal bands for a pallet of these beds. Because the box had three indentations on the side. The band cut into the front support post for the bed. The Allen wrench tool supplied stripped out after the left side of the bed was built. Boards will have cracks, our bed had 5 or 6 visible cracks.
I need to find the claims paper work so I can get a new board D I believe.
I bought this same bed from Walmart for nearly half the price. It's really a great bed - my 6 year old is in love with her new loft bed. Her dad and I were able to put it together in about 2 hours - it's very sturdy! It does have an odor for awhile, but it fades and just kind of smells like new furniture. We are very happy with this bed! Definitely a good purchase!
My daughter loves her bed and has turned the downstairs into a living room I was worried that at 6 it might be too high but we have had no problems and have had it for a month now
Though the bed ended up not working for us, I must compliment the vendor for assisting us with a return well after their typical return time. We had built the bed and gone on vacation for four weeks. Upon return my daughter decided this was not for her and they accomodated us with shipping pick up and a refund. We are grateful and recommend this vendor if considering purchasing from them.
